Hi! I'm George Poulos (yes, I am from Greek descent!). I'm currently a 21 year old senior at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT studying computer science, but after school I plan to run my RUclips channel & clothing brand Arrow Skate Co full-time. I'm madly in love with skateboarding & the lifestyle surrounding it; I have been skateboarding since 2005, so it's been about 14 years. i’m skating the kevin bradley air force 2’s! after skating his other high top shoes these make me feel super confident and the flick is amazing i’m also skating a hockey deck i feel like these shoes and the shape of the nose of my board is the perfect combination for flip tricks
Hey George, for my first skate shoe, what do you recommend? I’m thinking somewhere along the lines of Vans Old Skool pros or Adidas Campus Adv or match court. I’m Trying to not blow my budget too lol. Great vids and love the merch!

Personally I just got them first time skating then I wasn’t able to kick flip it and I have them consistently. They are narrow and a little tight i do hope they wear in but they are cool

I bought a pair of Kyle Walker pros on a sale this winter. Otherwise, they are quite overpriced in Ukraine compared to the US. Now I can say that they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever skated. My previous shoes were Lakai Griffin and they were so low quality that a hole started to appear on one shoe where my big toe is just in two months, even before starting to shred in them. Yeah, I used to buy new shoes and walk in them every day while skating in the old pair with shoe goo applied while it's still skateable. By the way, I've heard a lot of good things about high top Nike SB Blazer, so I think I'm gonna try them next season.
I skate in the same pair of Adidas Neos that Ben was wearing. Black and white.
I'm currently rocking the chocolate x cons Kenny Anderson cons for the second pair in a row and I absolutely adore the way they feel and how I skate in them. If I could skate them for the rest of my life I would 😂

What do you think of Chuck Taylor 70s for skating? durability, cushion, etc (the improved version, the ones that the midsole is brighter)
i got the illegal civ ones and they fit true to size but i love skating them theyre really comfortable

I started skating in Jan and I started with normal runners, then switched to hi top Chucks because they were the closest thing to a skate shoe that I already had. The Chucks smoother sole made it a lot easier to shuffle my feet into position on the board and they have enough rubber toe wrap to actually make a difference to my Ollies. But high tops are a pain to get on so I bought a pair of Vans Chima Pros in Feb and I love em. Unfortunately because I wear arch support insoles I had to ditch the shoe’s own super comfy Ultracush insoles but I cut them up and used as much as I could to give me cushion on the heel and that works well. I’m too much of a beginner to know if the change from Chucks to Vans really made any difference since I get better with each session anyway.

I had etnies until the bottom of the shoe fell off and i found random "victory" shoes and i can honestly say that after a week they look untouched but they kinda suck

Check braille skating they have a really good how to on all tricks.
I've been trying for a while, I think if you just turn your shoulders and pop, you'll land it, but Vl skate has some good "how-to" vids, check him out.
Also make sure you have Ollies down really well and you are comfortable on your board
