I don't think you can duck to escape a grab in sf... That exists in mortal kombat, grabs are highs which go over a crouched and not blocking opponent. But afaik that's not possible in this game. If you put the time I'd like to see what you're talking about! Maybe I'm wrong, always happy to learn
@@jpVariif you check 3:53 tokio gets a knockdown with h tatsu and frame kills with 5mk. He usually goes for grab here which is why the guy teched, instead he back up a bit and crouched which caused the throw to whiff. The crouch doesn’t actually make the throw whiff i think it’s like a safer shimmy bc they can’t sneak in a 2mk.
@@jpVari yeah looks like that’s not actually the case. Didn’t really pay attention to his spacing, so I thought this was some kinda undiscovered tech. Still, the visual is pretty cool.
@@Ace-zc4rw To further clarify for the guy because i was unsure of it when i first started, it's a 3 frame start up (3 green blocks on the frame meter) however many frames active (the red bars on the frame meter. i called 4 frame normals 3 frames cos i only looked at the start up back then.
Most would say tokido's akuma is boring to watch and Daigo's akuma is much better... In my opinion, tokido's playstyle is focused more on dishing consistent damage and winning sets consistently and efficiently... Moves dont need to be flashy as long as it lands with solid damage everytime...
i just think its funny how there are barely any more ken players lol goes to show how many depended on being carried 😆 all jumped ship and went to ryu now i feel some jumped ship went to akuma cant handle the 9000 health n went right back to ryu lol
7:22 nice to see tokido making the same mistake i do after overhead 😭
I'd be glad to do the same mistake and still Perfect a 2000+ mmr deejay in the same round.
Best Akuma play tokido bring back Evo moments 😊
Bruh was playing some killers here too! He was never in trouble!
its always good to see tokido and akuma together again
6:43 what a fast hand
That’s what she said!
To-kiddo is at it again. Whoooo.
such a cry baby
Tokido been in the lab 😮
best akuma
Not even close right now.
Kawano and Shuto are by far better than this.
Tokido needs more time.
@@teamgohadouken9713 nah ive watched both of them and i think tokido plays him the best rn
I agree. Kawano and Shuto are more flashy so they look better. Tokido looks boring but his spacing is perfect
I saw punk's Akuma and it looked pretty oppressive
@@uzla Then u clearly don't know shlt about SF and even less about Gouki. Lmao.
Damn I haven’t really seen other pros play so maybe this isn’t new, but crouching to escape a grab is cool as hell. Big movie energy

You can't crouch to escape throws in Street Fighter. Tokido just walked back slightly out of throw range to make the throw whiff.

nah, he just walked back far enough. being able to duck throws would make some characters borderline unplayable
There’s a Akuma army will he be able to lead it ? Well Murder face is Akuma
O boy it's on now go akuma 😮😊
are there any characters that have 3 frame normals in SF6?
No
There are no 3 frames Normals in sf6 the quickest normal is 4 frames

dude a beast
We’re in trouble 😅
Decapre theme 😢
Wow. Fuudo whip his ass with Dee Jay in that 1st to 10 match. Look up the video. Tokido couldn’t beat fuudo DeeJay with Akuma
Facts...
Fuudo was mentored by LTG
why is he not doing charge hado combo during the od wallsplat?
I see some Akuma players choosing to do crHP xx not charged Fireball instead. Gotta check the damage
It does less damage

After Tokido starts cooking with Akuma, we'll get efficient AND flashy ;)
What’s the first match ost in the background??
street fighter 4 Decapre theme
Does tokido stream at all?
On youtube yes, very often
Start puting these song remix names in your bio please.
whenever the game starts you can see the name of the song in the bottom of the screen. But yeah, i can do that. Thanks for your suggestion

ya'll need to stop making these vids in English character voices, it's actual cringe hearing Akuma in English
Im gonna make a pool so you guys decide. Thanks
@@fightinggamehype8363Ignore him lmao he's an ultra weeb, the English VA did an amazing job. Choose the language you prefer.
I dont even play this game and throw loops make me tired
You don't play this game but you come to complain about throw loops in a 10 minute video where throw loops was used twice?
