I remember being at my lowest, waiting in a lobby to see a mental health doctor, and the radio station that was playing went into a fugitive bit. It was too perfect.
Listen to Who Are These Podcasts, its basically jocktober but for podcasts, he covers current Opie a lot, and Cumia references the show often and has even done guest spots on it.
5:30 ya see, normally, the boys would have said something like, "Beaver? It's Bieber you dumbshit." But I guess their guest here was one of the "protected ones". He and Vic Henley never got the beatings they deserved.
Opie really believes that he's the bad boy of radio, lmao.. he thinks that he's so edgy for exposing the truth about the fugitive bit even though it's not even intended to be taken seriously in the first place. Even the idiot listeners of these garbage FM stations realize the DJs would never encourage them to locate and accost an actual fugitive running from law enforcement, hahaha.. what a tool.
" WOAH, DID YOU KNOW GOOFY RADIO GIVEAWAY BITS AREN'T ACTUALLY REAL? YEAH, WE'RE SO EDGY, CHYAAAAAA " Yeah, we know guys. No one is supposed to think its real, its just a marketing gimmick to add some flavor and fluff to a giveaway I swear to God, sometimes O&A are like edgy 20 year olds telling their other 20 year old friends Santa isn't real and thinking they're cool for it
Ugh, bob levy might be the worst radio guest of all time. If these guys didn’t feel like they were swiping an old stern associate, they’d never have him on. He’s just soooooo baddddddd
manifestgtr Jimmy’s known him since the mid-90s and credits him for his entire career, on account of getting his first serious gigs by driving him to them with Florentine.
Bob Levy's VERY streaky, he was to the Stern listeners what Rich Vos was to O&A's audience. Half the time he's just plain hacky. The other half of the time he ranges from almost tolerable to way quicker and funnier than he has any right to be. To be fair, Levy had a few really funny moments on Stern during the Artie era. Levy's finest O&A appearance was when he called in during a Lady Di trashing. Seriously listen to it. It's one of my favorite O&A bits ever, trust me it'll change your mind.
When he started on Stern, circa 2000, he was actually funny. He would do these roasts of the show members which were great. As the years went on, he became more drug addled and self pitying.

I really think the feds should have cracked down on this crime trend a long time ago. How do they keep letting this go on year after year?
If we sit back and do nothing they're just gonna keep getting away with it..
Surprised America still has radio stations with all these fugitives out walking the streets, stealing their revenue.
Oh, Literal Samuel!
Imagine doing radio gags in 2011
Dang Fewchative
