In this video we dive into what it has been like using the new midrange tablet by Samsung, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. This Android midrange tablet is set to compete with a number of other tablets, and for that reason, Samsung added a few quirks to make it not only different, but very competitive. I have the plus version of the FE and it works amazingly especially with taking notes I have a few different Note apps that I use kilo notes: You're able record the lecture while you take notes.

+1 for honest review. It does noticeably get warm especially in gaming but one thing for sure surprisingly no noticeable performance drop.

I noticed it get warm at a store while doing nothing which was immediately concerning. But I still think it's a good device for the price.
Hi,bought it after your recommendation ,didnt return my s6 lite and bought this as well …working great i don’t carry my macbook pro anymore and love to make notes using Samsung notes…it has made my life so much easier😊

as a new owner of a tab s9 fe, i didn't noticed this type of heating yet. but it' good to get knowledge about other people experiecing that problem.
May I ask you where do you live? Because It varies ALOT. I live in Egypt and it gets pretty hot at summer so all my devices get hor, but in winter they only get slightly warm.

I got burned on the S21FE, even though it has SD 888. My camera has turned off at least 20 times in the past year due to overheating, even when taking ordinary photos, without 4K video, etc. I hope they fix Exynos because I'm a big fan of Samsung and their software. I definitely want my next tablet to be a samsung.
Weird cause my mom's tab s9 fe+ doesnt get warm even if i do pretty intensive gaming on it 😅 maybe its the size? Heat dissipates better in larger tabs? Idk haha

I loved my S9FE w/ 5G but it died three months shy of one year. Sent it to Samsung and said it couldn't be repaired and refunded the money including my trade-in value. Just bought another S9FE w/o 5G open box and hope it'll last longer
One thing that enhanced the temperature was deactivating RAM plus, both with the A54 and the S9 TAB, and both have performed very well without getting hot, as you say, its stays warm
That would definitely make sense as RAM Plus would put more strain on both the Storage and Memory mechanics

Haven't seen it warm. My tab s9fe is packed with apps. Love it. Last tab I had was a galaxy tab e 8in with 1.5gb and a iPad mini Gen 1 before that. This tab is as fast as my s21ultra. Got it for $350 new. It was either this or s6lite

I've use older samsung tab with 1gig ram with exynos, gets warm everytime i use for heavy gaming (i rooted the tablet). But reading n yt which is my use case 80% of the time never gets warm even with thick case. I currently using samsung tab a9 plus n soon getting tab s9+ 12-256 model. My tab a9+ dont get warm even when i play gran turismo 3 on aether2 emulation. But it gets warm in small parts when browsing using opera or when i draw using ibispaint with intesive details

It won't really get that much warmer with the case; at least not to the extent where it's concerning. I'd say go for it and get your case. On top of that it doesn't sound like you'll be doing anything particularly heavy (even if you were), you'll be just fine.

Ivan wish Samsung would go back to Qualcomm Processors,dont like my Tablets or Phones using Exynos,dont get me wrong Samsung Displays Creme del Le Creme, but chips meh its not a dealbreaker but prefer other chips in my device ,dont like my Tech gettin warm,anyway i digress great video keep em comin.👍👍🔥🔥

OneUI 6.0 did wonders for me. Fixed alot of issues and it never got really warm on my normal workflow (Multitasking with Samsung Notes and many documents). OneUI 6.1 seems to also make OneUI smoother, so can't wait for that update. For anyone reading, upgrade to OneUI 6.0. The original firmware was faulthy as there was an issue with GPS that made standby time way worse and it would also make the tablet crash sometimes.

My s21 plus used to get warm watching youtube and scrolling the internet, but ever since one ui 6.0 and 6.1, I've noticed my device tends to be cooler. (Used to get up to 38° on youtube now it only get up to 32-36°
just thinking here.. pretty sure the reason it's a metal back plate is to serve as a heat sink. like my A8, it was warm to the touch too.. metal back plate.
All of my tablets are in cases so I don't notice heat issues. I have seldom purchased a new toy without buying a nice case for it at the same time. I am now living alone so I am getting ready to get rid of cable because I use a couple of streaming services on my tablets, and I can start casting content to my TV's from my tablets. Besides, at my age, I really need to start watching my pennies. :)

I have it for 3 weeks right now. Never feel it getting warm because i use case. It stutters a lot when going to home screen tho. But what do you expect from A54 chipset with 6gb of ram

I got mine 3 days ago, has been the best experience for me! BUT, the performance is still something compromised and you can definitely feel it. I'm not a heavy user, so haven't had any heating issues. Definitely would recommend, if the compromised specs aren't the most important ones for you! It's the perfect device for me, loving it

Yep, just scrolling through the ui feels not as good you want it to be. I experience frequent ghosting or stutters, which I'm mentioning in the comment :))

@@fevad1246 Yes it sure does support 1440p videos, not just that but up to full 2160p. I watch videos on 2160p all the time. The display on this device is REALLY GREAT no doubt on that!
It does support 1440p as well as 2160p. Display is very very good no doubt.
Hello! The S9FE is a tablet that I like because just for entertainment it is a very good tablet but for a few euros more I found an S8 tablet pack with book cover which I chose, otherwise I would have chosen the S9FE! Not at all specialized in technology your videos are very useful bravo 👍

I have been using the tablet since January 23 for a contest giveaway and I still don't feel it warming up 😮...maybe I don't play games.
I use my tablet especially to draw, watch online courses, listen to music, listen to online radio through vlc player, browse, watch some You Tube and Netflix. The battery lasts a long time between three to four days depending on use...i draw in Ibis Paint X and what i enjoy most about the tablet is the sensitivity of the pen 🥰. I have the 256gb silver version with 8gb ram with protective case.
...I still haven't put a protective film on the screen but when drawing it feels very good. I read that some put hydrogel or other mica on it and waste the tip of the pencil 😮

I asked you some time ago, but you didn't want to answer. You only talk about pluses, positive things. Why don't you also talk about negative things, such as the lack of magnify from the S pen? This is a very important minus for me, and for those who have poor eyesight.

I just got this in today it was free from T-Mobile I think I'm going to be upgrading to the iPad pro in a few months.
Ivan, I have worked with this tablet so I've gotten crazy because I'm realizing stuttering when I do a zoom and rotate a text box in apps like One Note and Kilonotes. This happened as well on screen transition in Outlook, kindle and Kobodo. Do you realise sttutering on you tablet? Am I crazy? sorry for my bad english 😅! I love your videos😊 !
ik what you're talking about and i will have to say that unfortunately you will have to turn off adaptive 90 hz. The adaptive is what changes the refresh rate and your eyes and brain pick the change very quickly. so switch to standard 60 hz which may not be smooth but atleast won't be stuttery. Besides, you will eventually get used to 60 hz and find it smooth

I 've just bought this tablet and I experience some warmer issues. The thing is my tablet gets warmer
when I just scroll on internet or when I watch a video on yt. I don't know if it's a problem....can you help me? I have this tablet for 2 days. It doesn't get warm, warm but you can sense it and it gets warm just in the left corner. I didn't use it so much for gaming

I own it and I couldn't care less about the heat. I've learnt very well no amount of complaining fixes this; it just diminishes the experience you could have if you didn't stress.

3 months too late, but I use this tablet for drawing and note taking. Drawing is the worst offender here BUT my nib is just fine
Even if it wears out, there's replacements and you shouldn't be worried about it because it's a Wacom technology: nibs are meant to be replaced

Hi, does the Facebook apps able to go dark mode on S9? On S8, there is no option for me to turn on dark mode with Facebook Apps. I have to Force Darkmode" with developer mode to view Facebook in darkmode.
I would agree mine is holding up extremely well also. It has become my daily driver. I to notice it getting warm but only when on zoom or teams calls.

I recently bought it . Yes battery does last full day with heavy usage of samsung notes and youtube. And today I played war robots(for 49 minutes) which is a bit heavy game and genshin impact(played for 2hr 44 min with medium settings) which is very heavy game and i currently i am still left with 13% charge with 13 hours

S9fe+ was sold for 23k in Flipkart during lastmonth. 8+128 wifi model. It's worth below 30k. Not more than that.

You can do some editing, but I'd suggest going for mid range ipad in the same price range if you can. They're better suited for that

Then s9 fe is good for you. Xiaomi pad is barely optimised by any drawing/note taking apps. XIaomi is only for performance such as game and/or video/image editing
