Hah! That’s what was missing from making it just right. I’ve been a JP fan most of my adult life (I’m in my 50) and I didn’t pick that up. Shows how musically inclined I am.
Reed Richards Yeah even the Cyndi Lauper or Madonna who’s in charge of the vocal here looks metal by that drummer. - From a shitless slave region of humanism being suffered under hoon-tribe-originated-parasitism and kiki'she' collectivism which is known as the name 'Korea', whose dwellers always steals and begs from Japan's original history which clearly inherited sincere humanity in Ancient Cudara more than its 'original' dwellers in hometown.
When he was born, the drummer heard from a gypsy that one day he'd discover what life is all about. He discovered it playing this song and absolutely NAILING it
I give them props for even attempting this song. It is one JP's hardest songs to pull off and even Rob can't quite do it any more. All you negative comments GTFO!
I was 14 or 15 when Painkiller came out, and I listened to it so many times I wore out my cassette tape. I love seeing a new generation of kids appreciating the talent of Judas Priest and Rob Halford all these years later.
Only the drummer has some feeling of metal. Nice try to cover Judas, but not so good result. Let the guitars use real distortion. The bassist seems to be suffering the song.
@@Sticks1680 She's looks like her arm is breaking hitting all those notes for 5 1/2 minutes. If you've played the bass line on it you'll know it takes some working up to do. LOL and she also looks like she's hating it. :)
OH DAMN !! By 4:00 I was feeling EXHAUSTED just from watching the energy expended by the drummer !! Holy Schnikes !! 💥 🛌 AND at 3:19, the facial expression of the female guitarist was a combination of earnestness, dedication, innocence, self-consciousness and cuteness, all wrapped into one. I'm not familiar with Judas Priest or most heavy metal -- not what I gravitate to. BUT, I can appreciate THAT number, based on the flawless performance, the energy, the passion shown by all these guys. The vocalist and her backing vocalist, nice job. ✅ 12/13/23
Maybe not the best voice .. for this song, but she HAS a voice that is interesting and that has great potential for sure. And the drummer is insane. =)
People talking about the bass player looking like she's miserable. I have a feeling she was told to look like she was in pain through the whole song. On California Dreaming she really rocks it. Good solid job from everyone. Drummers wins it all. Teacher did a great job singing
A lot of criticism in the comments. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but that's a hard fucking song to play. I think they did a great job. I've heard live performances of this song from real bands that didn't sound this good. Drummer crushed it!
I didn't know what to think at first, sounded like the Runaways covering Judas Priest at first, but as I continued listening, it was very impressive. Vocals decent, guitarists obviously have talent, the bass player was doing a good job of keep it all together with a nice bass attitude. Good job.
As a Metalhead, I appriciate the effort Guys. Unfortunately the result is a song that sounds like what happens when a pop act tries to make a metal track
At 1:21 I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. This song ain't for anyone but the insane to tackle and do it right. Rob Halford is hard to match vocally, something she couldn't match. Drummer nailed it though.
Kamrya.. I only liked this cause all the other kids did a great job... But poor Kamrya on that bass.. Omg give her some coffee... This just not for her.. Really enjoy her on Califoria dreaming.. She rocked there... And the lead singer.. Wow.. Couldnt have been better.. So did all the others.. Back up singers... Drummer.. Beauiful job...Kamrya and the others chould rock with a AC-DC or a Who song... Hope to see that...
Big, big kudos to those kids... it takes balls to tackle Painkiller.... not perfect (hey, they're kids!!!!!), but hell of a job. The girls on the bass seems to be suffering, but this is one of the toughest songs to play on bass. Great job!
Thought they did a great job! Why do people have to look for the negative, bet the ones picking on the bass player never touched or played a bass before!
Me da mucho gusto que no todo los jóvenes están perdidos con la música basura de hoy y aprecien verdaderas joyas como painkiller de los míticos Judas Priest, felicidades
i dont know the song but Im pissed off at you guys pouring shit on this great talent. Not one of you can play better. i have been playing for 35 years and these people have talent.
Oh yeah they have talent, but they didn't do the original justice. I bet there's quite a few people in the comments who can play better, that doesn't mean these guys are bad
Sound mixing needs a little work but the tempo is perfect. And let's face it...nobody can replicate Rob Halford ! So the singer does as good a job as any I suppose.
That bassist definitely felt the pain playing this song :) Props to the drummer, the guy put the heart and soul into it. Definitely the one who picked the song, showing them some real heavy metal haha
Jeez this was hard!... It was like having an exam... The only one who seemed to have fun was Matt, the drummer. But they sounded coherently though and by the end they almost nailed it! Not bad.
From the look on her face, my guess is she didn't want to be there. I get the feeling she didn't think the band was ready to go. She fired some dirty RBF looks across the room a few times. I don't blame her.
Brian Haselden Haselden you don’t need a wall of marshalls for overdrive, they put it in a little box called an overdrive pedal. pedals aren’t the problem, it’s probably the equipment they were provided. i could’ve gotten a heavier tone out of a blues jr. lol.
I've got a question for whomever mixed this... Why did you pull the drums in front of the vocals? Yeah, especially with Priest drums are important, but Halford's vocals are never put behind everything else. The singer is amazing, as are all of the rest, but you layered her behind everything. Not fair to the vocalist.
Sweet cover. Do any of the members have RUclips or anything btw? They did a great job covering Painkiller. Also who are Julianna and Dakota? They're very pretty and talented.
let the kids use distortion please
lol
Yeah legit, the tone is dead
Not ready yet
Yeeaaaahh!!
Hah! That’s what was missing from making it just right. I’ve been a JP fan most of my adult life (I’m in my 50) and I didn’t pick that up. Shows how musically inclined I am.
Drummer obviously picked the song. Dude looks metal af
Reed Richards

Problem is that girl looks even less rock than Elton John with both of them. Yeah but so was the movie with that name.
The songs are picked as part of the curriculum.
He also plays Metal af. Seriously, if Scott has to take time off, Priest needs this guy's number.
When he was born, the drummer heard from a gypsy that one day he'd discover what life is all about. He discovered it playing this song and absolutely NAILING it
Haha I love this comment so much
That drummer is Totally in the Metal ZONE!!!! Love it!!!
Do you know how hard it is to sound like Rob Halford? This is a gifted group of individuals right here.
My thoughts exactly
The drummer nailed it.
love the bassist -- just a badass look on her face throughout.
Lol..
Looks like shes just wanna go home! 😂
I give them props for even attempting this song. It is one JP's hardest songs to pull off and even Rob can't quite do it any more. All you negative comments GTFO!

haha \m/ same here. i wore out 2 tapes and 2 cds until i finally got it mp3 on my phone sd card. can't wear it out now :P
The singer and the drummer were amazing
The singer was awful. As a singer, good, but her performance couldn't have been less Metal
The drummer kicks arse!!
This is like metal without soul. Drummer is really feeling the song, though.
Only the drummer has some feeling of metal. Nice try to cover Judas, but not so good result. Let the guitars use real distortion.
The bassist seems to be suffering the song.
Yeah, I thought that it's not her sort of style, however.... check out 'California Dreaming', she has the feel for that track.
She looks appalled. Lol
@@DieyoungDiefast je confirme
They're good, but Matt really nails it on the drums. He's like a teenage Scott Travis.

Dakota sing the lead vocals here, she's more aggressive than Julianna.

These kids nail this.👍🙏
The drummer is on fire.
Cover Halford is never an easy task. I’m going to revisit that epic b&w vídeo clip. Thanks for revisit and pay tribute to this metal anthem.
Is more "popkiller" than Painkiller......

love this cover
Tha bassist is like “what the fuck am I doing here ?”😂😂😂
Why all the hate for the bass player? She’s just doing it it with the John Entwhistle face.
The vocals are amazing, Julianna has a really good voice.
Love the drummer, bassist, and keyboardist.
Where do I click to donate some more gain on those amps? Yikes sounds like bad surf rock.
I didn't know what to think at first, sounded like the Runaways covering Judas Priest at first, but as I continued listening, it was very impressive. Vocals decent, guitarists obviously have talent, the bass player was doing a good job of keep it all together with a nice bass attitude. Good job.

Are you a studio session musician or rock star? Where is the Emotion? Are you having fun?
the drummer is the only one who is having fun. i bet he picked the song XD
1:23 WTF? Where is the rage there?

What a drummer! He becomes one with the drums. I wonder if he is a cross between drums and human.
So good
Great job on the sweeps without all the distortion and gain
OMG. I'll rewatch Three of a Perfect Pair video again.
Thought they did a great job! Why do people have to look for the negative, bet the ones picking on the bass player never touched or played a bass before!
They did well. I just would have liked the guitars much louder and yes distorted abit.
So badass, I love my team 1!!!

Anyone that tries to tackle 'Painkiller' in my book is badass! ;-)
Vocals.......excellent..
2:05 doesn’t sound good with low overdrive. Either turn the gain WAY up, or use distortion. Props to drummer, vocalist and keyboard player though!
Keyboardist is getting into it!!
Where's the third guitarist?
Superb drummer
Awesome job guys! Superb! Very difficult song...
Nice piece of drumming
they say Imation is the highest from of flatter ,then Ron Halford and Judas Priest should be flattered indeed . well done by all .. out ...

Drummer is a beast

Yeah, Kamryn, the same from California Dreamin
She seems distant or out of it.
