We also have the Mercane Wide Wheel Pro and have carried out 8 different modifications so far including adding extra rear lights (similar idea on the rear lights as you).
Love what you have done to yours and so glad you are wearing full body armour the same as us - So important to wear protection (just like she said, lol) 🛴⚡️

I have upgrade my 2019 wide wheel from 48v to 52v system with 2 batteries total of 31ah, and also new qs-s4 controller(speed display is needed) and esc, get up to. 32 mph max with 200lbs rider weight. But still the wide wheel have much more can modify and much more fun to discover.

It's really quite a shame that Mercane didn't in 3 years find a suitable hydraulic replacement for their brakes. And as far as I know the scooters are quite a success. I own the 2019. model which has a lot of design problems most notably just one brake. That brake not only doesn't do the scooter justice but it is also flawed in design as the pads only cover the disc some 90% so even after like a week my pads get ruined. Sometimes the mechanism will just drop like there's a faulty thread or something so I have to make sure the pull isn't too long to cross that point. It's really a nightmare.
These guys wear more gear than most dudes who ride 1000cc sport bikes ;)
Mercane should up their game, and install a bigger battery, then i would buy one😎👍 Great Range

Great idea, but it’s a weight versus distance argument. The original battery is a beast already. So adding a bigger battery is going to up it from an already hefty 24 kilos (54lbs) up to nearer 30 kilos. So unless you got arms like a body builder, I wouldn’t bother

The mounting piece is custom made in garage, very straightforward. Just shape it and mount it to seat

looks like he made it himself.
Making a large battery isnt the issue, its finding a reliable BMS board, at 48V it need a good charge and balance circuit or else the cells will be cooked.
I love my widewheel & I understand why your dressed like that.

You mean the throttle? It's the same throttle but with different sensor which gives total control in low speeds as well

No need to double. In stock battery you have 2500 mah, here is 3500. In stock 13s6p=78 batteries-cells. Here it is 117. Means +39 more cells

It's completely new battery that's why there is a new BMS (much stronger one 60a)

@@Code_version it's the completely new battery with better specs LG branded cells. I am not selling batteries but I can help you with creating one. My friend will do it if you are in Europe. Outside Europe might be difficult with the delivery

Hello, I also bought one. My scooter will emit low-frequency noise similar to helicopter propellers in the speed range of 26-29 km/h, which is at the highest speed in the eco mode. Does your scooter have this problem?

Can it work better if I put a 52 v battery?
one person on reddit has pushed his to something like 63v i think and he says that it works just fine, not faster really but more torque and accel. apparently the controller and motors are happy to handle it just fine but he had to custom build to his battery with new BMS and wiring.

@@alidalkus3853 did you try new rims? I purchased new rims, brakes, tires...kept cracking the stock rims... With the stock brakes and crap stopping distance...a sidewalk block or uneven road transition will snap stock rim like toothpick.

@@alidalkus3853 I think you are well informed. In my scooter tail light is only on during braking but not after normal light is turned. I'm wondering if you know what could that be and how to fix it?

You need to upgrade the stem it’s absolutely awful wobbles after 5 meters, I wish I’d never bought mine I hate it also the suspension is shit
Mine is perfectly fine. No wobble, no loose, no movement
@@alidalkus3853 that’s good for you mine has lasted 3 weeks and already it’s broken, the underside cover that covers the battery snapped clean off going over a tiny speed bump 3mm , the brakes are useless the suspension is too firm ! Who designed the suspension on this scooter? A 5 year old could do better ! Who on earth uses a metal spring on a scooter? It’s insane, they should use One single rubber bush like on a car so when it wears out you just fit a new rubber bush and it’s like new again
