As a Chinese person, your introduction was actually extremely eye-opening; never thought about how my kitchen looks really different compared to the average American haha
Yea a African American has soo many different things then a Asian or Caucasian
@@prosperitythegod8287 like what a deep fryer and chicken
@@TempoMontages food and seasoning other than bacon and pork chops

Why do all Chinese menus list General Tso's chicken as spicy? It's not even close. It"s sweet. Asians know what spicy is.
Sorry Brian, No matter where you were born, there's sweet and there's spicy.
Asians can't eat the Carolina reaper.lmao
I’ve had some that is spicy. I’ve tried a lot of spicy Asian,Thai food that’s was spicy but non of it is burning hot just a little mild.
Its cause the brown sauce is usually too thick to even taste the spice.
General Tso's is an American dish, and yea it is the one dish often labeled spicy but rarely ever is.
I am a senior and I live alone I like the Tei Pei chicken fried rice best. A quick easy go to snack or quick meal. Their container saves plates. Under $2.00 at my Walmart
You should join a fraternity
Holy crap. That viewer that asked you to try Tai Pei was me!
Doubt you were the first. Lol do u want a cookie

I am at work right now and the person across is eating the the shrinp fried rice. You are the NSA.
mountainghost556 Your too funny!
Haha! You are being programmed.....
Wolfe Pit liked your comment!
*CONFIRMED*
Lmao
Lol! 😹🥡🥡🥡
I really want some General Tso's Chicken now.
How about some General Iroh's chicken?
My mom makes the best
GrandSilver i tried this before you and it was so good
Jay Ileiwat yea she gave me some
GrandSilver idk why but your videos are so addictive .
I have to admit these are pretty good. Pepper beef is my favorite.
Just had the pepper beef one and i mixed it with shrimp fried rice on the side and it was amazing
I've gotta hand it to you Woolfie, I learn something new about food every time I watch one of your videos. Your food reviews have introduced me to some products that I would never have bothered to try. What's really impressive is how you manage to hit on all of the important aspects of these products. It's like having a good friend who goes to the store for you and keeps you from making those really bad selections. As I'm sure you know, some food is so bad, you just want to throw it across the room after the first bite. And then, every now and again, you discover something so good, that you call up your wife and tell her to not forget to buy it. Anyway, my compliments on another useful video.
How can they put 800mg of sodium into something and make it tasteless at the same time?
practice
Random fact. Salt is the cheapest food additive that can be added to hide flavors.
myultumatum On the other hand, salt in right amounts enhance flavors. It also masks other flavors, so you are correct. Try a little salt on a grapefruit. It will kill the bitterness.
cesiba1 oh?I should try this but I don't mind it

IM ADDICTED TO THIS CHANNEL!
I tried the Tai Pei orange chicken on a whim and was surprised by how much I liked it. It's not something I'd eat on a regular basis but for a quick snack it was certainly worth a couple bucks.
I've sworn by these for years. Real food on a not real food kinda budget.
I stuck a shrimp like i shank a snitch 😂😂😂
I've consumed these for years. They are quite good. I've had them all. The best are the Pepper Beef, Garlic Shrimp(apparently discontinued), and Beef and Broccoli. Oh..., and the Chicken Chow Mein to acceptable.
Won't even lie I absolutely love these things.
I stuck a shrimp like I'd shank a snitch 😂😂😂
Dude you're fuckin funny
SportsFan JW 😂
Yea...now I miss the TV show "OZ."
LOL

Try saying that three times fast
Thank you for stating that general tso's isn't real chinese food
Recently tried your Mac n' cheese recipe and it's amazing! You should definitely do more cooking tutorials.
Thanks for watching!
I've seen those in my local store, and wanted to check them out, especially the shrimp fried rice.
Thanks for the soy sauce advice!
*For the best flavor, quite a bit of soy sauce may be required. I used two leftover soy sauce packages .(not enough)
All in all, I am still going to my local Chinese restaurants for my shrimp fried rice.
But for drunk food, it is a lot better than standing around for 15 minutes making fools of yourselves.
The carrots still had some crunch and the peas still had some "pop".
TaiPei meals are pretty high quality for the price, i always grab one or two when i go to the store.
Hey man just want to say you put out great content and you help me out a lot with finding decent food on a budget keep up the good work and keep on keepin on!
I have never seen a before and after cooking comparison on a package label before. It's actually a good idea, especially for people who don't realize that food generally changes size when it cooks. It takes away the surprise when you open the microwave. And did you know the food gets hot, too. Wow. Go figure. I'm glad you do these videos, Larry... educational in so many ways.😁
Thanks so much for this! Living on an extreme budget, it's nice to slip a "treat" like this in every now and then! Again, thanks!
Hay you should do a review on lunchables
Good suggestion!!
Three Tai Pei meals to try
#1 Beef and broccoli, it is the best by far.
#2 Dumplings, They steam very well in the microwave, and you can throw them in a pan for pot stickers.
#3 Egg Rolls, They taste good but they NEED to be cooked completely in a pan or microwave them and then crisp them in a pan.
Nice review!! I saw this in the freezer aisle the other day, I was surprised that they were in ice cream containers. I remembered these were in takeout containers when I was younger.
Your honesty and humor keeps me watching.
Hey brother love the videos work full time with tons of ot sometimes these meals are the way I have to go sometimes keep the videos coming
I was turned on to these a out 4 years ago. I like them pretty well vs a TV style dinner. Fast, easy, cheap and disposable. I've had almost all of the flavors, most are pretty good. Definitely worth $2.00.
These food reviews really help me when it comes to stocking up on backup food for college.
I have one of these in my freezer right now, hadn't tried it yet, so glad to see it wasn't a waste of money.
Awesome. I just bought a couple of these to avoid dishes. I'm glad they fared well. Great video!
Was about to sleep to -_- but it's ok!
I am becoming addicted to Wolfe Pit videos. Ive had these quite a few times ; enjoyed them both. Nothing outstanding about either, but I did come back for it a second time. This is when they were in the Chinese take out containers ; lol I must have been missing them in the frozen food section because the packaging changed.
I agree. I’ve had these before. For a budget Chinese quick fix, they are very good.
Notified squadron!!! I am on a remote island working on synthetic proteins, we all love your videos and get extra excited when you consume a protein that utilizes our synthetic blend. Unfortunately all communications including RUclips are delayed by 52 minutes which is why we could never comment, FIRST, which seems popular with westerners. My English not very good, it's my 4th language.
You are so amazing in your logic. I love Asian food and it is ridiculous to try as it is horrid in a frozen food....thank you for your sacrifice for " we the people"
Hi Larry, I really enjoy watching your "What Are We Eating" shows. But funny how I always want a snack every time I watch them.
Yes, I've tried these and they're actually quite good.
I for some reason am obsessed with this channel
I eat these every so often. I have two or three in the freezer right now. I do add soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. Which I keep in my kitchen along with many Chinese spices cuz I enjoy making stir fry and many different rice dishes. But these are very quick and easy. When my wife and I can’t decide what to eat. I grab one of these and she grabs like a frozen pot pie or something. Yes I can eat together and yet enjoy different meals. Works for us.
I actually use these in the wok and cook them with some other veggies and fish for a stir fry medley. Great stuff.
wow, I just tried the beef and broccoli a couple days ago, and it was pretty good. I'll have to try more of these.
Great review Sir !!! I bought the pork egg rolls and the Chicken fried rice ones today. They look great!!! Thanks from Texas!!!😀🥙🥙
idk why i watch these but tbh these are really entartaining to watch 😂 & you're funny too which makes these videos even better
I love waking up to a new Wolfe Pit video!
I like the orange chicken the best.
They just started selling those meals where my wife works at the Dollar General 500 feet from the house. I'll have to try them out. It's nice to have a Dollar General close by. I call it our storage building that we have to pay to get our stuff out of. Awesome review.
Thank you for the upload can't wait for the next one
I like Tai Pei's food, when I have soy sauce on hand.
I LOVE the Tai Pei Chicken Fried Rice. Sooooo good! We always add lite soy sauce.
I haven't seen the newer packaging, but I occasionally buy Tai Pei 's Beef & Broccoli or Lo Mein. I like them! I'll try the General Tso's Chicken.
I've wanted to try this brand, thanks for reviewing first! 😊
Where's the Plasta-sue?
Ed Reid asking the real questions
I hope he didn't get a cease and desist letter from Plastasu GenCorp (PGC on NYSE) for not getting permission to use their product.
He’s having an affair with some other silverware 😱😱
I wondering where the Plasta-Sue was too and the Wolfe Pit Plates his wife gave him ????? We demand answers! You're the still the best Dude no matter what you use.
Where's who?
i tried these a long time ago when they were served in the old containers I can't really remember if they were any good. After your video I may try them again
I've had Tai Pei a few times and I liked it, but I agree that it doesn't have a lot of flavor to it. I used some garlic sauce I had in my refrigerator and it made it much better.
I love that Chinese restaurant sign! Whatever it means! The only good Tai Pei frozen food I have tasted here in Southern California is the potstickers and the Chicken with noodles but the orange chicken is okay. I always hate baby corn but love regular corn on the cob and other corn like frozen or canned. I wish we were able to get the General Tso's flavor here.
I'm a freight clerk at WinCo and it's shocking how fast these things fly off the shelves in the frozen isle. Not gonna lie though I am curious to try one even more after this vid. Keep up the good work 👍
Bland Asian food calls for hot mustard! I can't get enough of it.
I've had em before . It's not bad for 2.00 and a quick hot meal when hungry
the way you say “baby corn” is so satisfying
Mr. Wolfe, when I get these, I put Yum Yum Sauce on it and it makes a pretty good snack when you get the munchies or something to eat after a long night of drinking, or even lunch for work if you're craving a quick Asian-American inspired food.
I like the shrimp fried rice. I add soy sauce and duck sauce. Love your vids.
i had Chinese food for dinner and i choose general tso it was cool to watch the review while eating .
General Tso, you've done it again!
Many good years of health to you. Thanks for making this.
My daughter loves Asian food, and has bought the Tai-Pei frozen entrees occasionally. She'd probably be one of the people adding lots of extra seasoning to her frozen "Chinese take-out"; however, I have a notoriously sensitive tummy, so bland is good for me. (Although I might sprinkle on a bit of The Spice House's "Sunny Singapore" salt-free seasoning, which is sort of a lemon-pepper mild curry powder -- very tasty!)
I eat these cups all the time. The potstickers are really good. The beef and broccoli isnt bad either. I actually like the brand a lot
These are actually good! The orange chicken is the best. They're always sold out at my grocery store.
I haven't had Tai Pei since they were in the chinese food containers... the general tso used to have real chicken. The Sauce is great from what I remember but the dumplings and egg rolls are my favorite out of the Tai Pei, nuke and fry them up for pot stickers and crispy egg rolls.
Who els rushes out to buy everything he says it decent! Easily my favorite channel.
I used to eat the Thai Peanut Chicken ones for lunch at work, and they were great.
I've bought the General Tso plenty of times, the only flavor I really like from the brand, not bad at all.
The spicy garlic chicken with string beans is surprisingly good as well and I'd recommend it.
Thanks for posting another great video!
Would love to see your take on natto. I love it and like to mix it with hot cooked rice and an egg. The hot rice cooks the egg too!
Where can I find it?
Any chinese supermarket normally stocks it. they are sold in little styrofoam containers and are really cheap.
It might even be worth to do an episode on weird things you can get in a chinese supermarket - natto, dried fish snacks, dried squid snacks, samyang spicy chicken ramen (google "spicy ramen challenge"!), mochi etc.
This is my favorite go to Chinese food. I always splash soy sauce on it. Thanks for liking them too which proves that I am not crazy!
"Shank a Snitch" One of my favorite Larry quotes!!! Keep up the good work Big Larry
I bought 18 of these at one time... Better than some Chinese food I buy from an actual Chinese restaurant. Buy haven't bought any since that last huge buy. But I do like these. Some more than others. And I live by home cooking and pretty great at it 👌
So about 15mins ago I got a call from Plastisue. She's really pissed that you are using Stainlesue again. Wolf your going to lose Plastisues acting ability. She helped you become the WolfPit sensation that your are. I know she's old and probably on drugs, but give her one more chance.
I will try to ensure the Plastisu makes an appearance soon!
here here!! the old plastic girl is more deserving to be in dollar tree food than stainlesue!!
Oh god, I think I know where this is going...
Make sure to leave a like
Just discovered your channel and i love it.
Bout damn time Wolfe! I was tired of looking at these on my lunch breaks wondering should I or shouldn't I?
TaiPei is definitely the best frozen 'chinese' meals. Only one that was even close to suspect for me was the sweet and sour chicken and that was because they almost over did it with the sauce (I like the things being lightly sauced).
I was really surprised at how decent they were! Going to try their spring rolls and other things next!
Ya gotta respect the wolf. He does it for the people.
Oh god this is one of the few things that you've reviewed that my family actually buys.
I'd like to see you do more of these. Like the chow mein one
Taipei is good in my opinion! It looks like they changed the package! Mine was always in a takeout style box!
I was going to sleep now I'm hungry, thanks..
Thanks for watching!
+stevenizback Nothing worse. Yet you have to sleep. If you eat, the sleep can be useless as your body spends it's resources digesting. That's why you have to fight temptation and avoid food videos before bed.
I'm watching it at 10:15 AM. We'll be having lunch in about an hour. Timing is perfect!
Who Pooped In The Pudding? Purrrrfect!
Will try these. Thank you.
I love the orange chicken one!
Hey Wolfepit welcome back to everybody
I tried the General Tso's chicken a few weeks ago. It was fine and made a nice lunch.
Thanks for sharing Larry! Did you know you can make your own succulent "meatless" organic General Tso's Chicken at home under 15 minutes for under $0.85 per serving?
NO? Wanna share how to?
I didn’t think you’d rate it that high! Nice video keep em coming
Always enjoy the videos.
Great review as always!
Thank you Nate!
Sweet. Thanks for taking my request
I have one of these in my freezer right now lol its been there a while because I was waiting on you to try it first.
They both looked good for a change. I find a lot of frozen food one thing is always over cooked but again so happy you tried these things for us xox
Thank you Molly!
