I like it, I hate pets that follow, they end up having pathing issues in games. Priest class seems so goofy too that it can run backwards faster than a wolf can run forwards.
Because it will strip the wow player base of all their cash within the first 48 hours of gameplay meaning they can't pay next months wow sub. Alternatively WoW players playing this game may find themselves having an existential crisis when questioning why they even decided to try Tarisland in the first place. Leading to the same question being asked as to why they play any game and so they never resub to WoW and instead go mow the lawn. Calling this game a wow clone is like like saying a unicycle feels like driving a tank. It's like Lost Ark had a baby with Albion Online and the baby came out with the worst disabilities known to man.
Nothing will "kill wow" but it's long past it's prime and the people playing it just can't let go. The best thing to come from blizzard was over 10 years ago.
I'm not sure about race. As of now, the only classes without gender lock are Paladin and Mage, though I did heard that they are going to slowly update that.
