1- Well done Rick very inspiring.
2- Well done Sarah for allowing Rick his moment when you probably wanted to strangle him for not sticking to the pace.
3-How funny was Jess cameo, legs moving rapid in Uggs whilst recording on her phone 😂

Judging from Rick’s comments about not being able to feel his toes, Uggs might have been the right choice. 🥶

As someone who is having ankle surgery next month and has been told by some Doctors that I may never run or play sport again I take real hope from Rick's journey. My surgeon said he never limits the expectations of his patients after surgery- if he does his job, the surgery goes well and I do my rehabilitation work who's to say what I can and can't do. Rick is the living testament of this. I am uplifted by watching him come back and smash these goals ❤

I don't know if your previous half pb was faster.
But as a runner as a presenter. You are absolutely inspiring. Running to an extent is about beating times and going faster but what is more real than anything else is how vulnerable it is for you to advertise your pace your heart rate and your finishing time to the world.
I appreciate the bravery. All of us who run in endurance sport are on a journey. Sharing it is something that anxiety inducing especially if youre not even close to elite mileage or paces.
Rick you were absolutely rapid abandoning your 2:05 and chasing 1:53.
Properly exposing your fears and fighting against them for the viewers to see is absolutely inspiring.
    💪💪💪
