Amber I am so glad to have discovered your channel here on RUclips you share some wonderful grocery hauls!! Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at I love seeing their seasonal items and always makes going to Trader Joe’s an exciting trip because I never know what I’m going to find!! Their naan bread is one of my favorites
Love watching these videos of grocery shopping. Thanks for showing how to make the tuna! Also, I sometimes put chia seeds (regular or ground) in my smoothies.
The tuna salad looks amazing. I would have never thought to add sun dried tomatoes or red peppers. The ingredients are definitely going on my shopping list next week.
Great video - it's always so interesting to see how other families plan out meals, how they shop and what they budget in. Everyone's budget is different and nobody should ever be judged for how they choose to spend their own money. You obviously have a very healthy and food-loving family. With that caveat in mind - I know many people including myself, follow the "Budgeting Queen" Jordan Page's guidelines of $100 per person in the family per month on groceries. This works out well for people with a smaller budget. By comparison - if this video was an example of your usual weekly grocery haul - your budget would work out at roughly $310 per person per month. For a family of 12, switching to the aforementioned budget for 1 year from this current budget would save $30,240 a year. None of that is to say that is what should be done at all - as I said, it's everyone's business how they choose to spend their money and how they shop. Thanks for sharing your families shopping system and recipes, it all looks delicious. :)
Aw thank you! A family member that wants to help us sends us money for fruit and some groceries so that helps! But yes I know what you mean! I’ve seen some of Jordan Paige’s videos and she is amazing. I think she buys less produce which probably really helps😭 but without family help I couldn’t either!
It's hard to budget with the prices and lack of stock in most stores. We have tried more expensive products due to no choices being available. Of course many times the only choices are more expensive. We are using egg substitutes for baking and the bread choices have been different every week. We try to buy extra for the freezer when we can buy lower priced bread. For example Aldi's offered butter @2.49 a lb this week so we bought 6 lbs and put 5 in the freezer. We have limited freezer space so we try to stock up for weeks when the prices are way too high! We always say how do families afford food today?
I have been in Traders Joe. The closet one to me is Atlanta Georgia. Next time we are in Atlanta will have to find one. We just got a Costco in Pooler Georgia.
I know it's cold in NY, but your children are never dressed for the weather outside. You & your husband have hats on not your kids. It's amazing you don't all have the flu.
Every time you add to the cart I think how many times you will be moving that item again. Between unloading and loading at the register and the car and the house I need a nap! Do you ever go home and take a nap? You have to be tired! Your children are so well behaved in stores. We always shopped with our parents and they used to complain about how high prices were way back then! That was when $10.00 bought bags of food. We used to have a bread man and a milk man and produce was sold at produce stands. We bought staples at the grocery store and never bought produce there.
Does your Costco have the $5 rotisserie chickens? That could be a good cheaper alternative to the two uncooked chickens I’ve seen you post about buying before.
The kids are so good with the baby .❤️ beautiful family
Love that there’s always music playing in the background of your sweet home from your kids ❤
Your such a wonderful mother. Your children are so beautiful and talented.
I wish you had a stroller for Moses and Melody. I enjoy seeing you all. Thanks.
The tuna salad looks delicious! So healthy and colorful. Mediterranean or south of france is what it reminds me of.
Wow! They have grown so much in the past ten months!!!❤

Aw thank you! Marc used to eat a lot of French food so I think he got the idea that way.❤️

Great video. Are there neighborhood farmers markets? Fruits and veggies, might be cheaper.
Y’all do an amazing job with healthy food. I will try that tuna next week. Cannot stand mayo, but we love tuna.
Aw thank you! A number of my kids don’t like Mayo either. So I understand ❤️

We got warmer coats for them.❤️
LMAO you don't get a respiratory virus from being out in the cold. That's not how viruses work 😂
Would you mind mentioning the prices for each item? I’m very curious what the items cost there in NY compared to me here in California.
You yall are so wonderful! Also, has anyone ever told you Amber that you sound and look similar to Jennifer Garner?
Aw thank you! I love her❤️
Love the tuna recipe ! Your husband does a good job in the kitchen 😀
Yes!🙌🏼 He is a pro! The kids all like his food best😅
For the next birthday I would recommend Costco tuexo mouse cake, taste better frozen
Yum!
I was getting ready to ask about the tuna salad. I make it but wanted to find a new way.
❤️❤️❤️

oranges that are greener are more flavorful...the more orange in color are past their prime

Sometimes! It depends… yes we’ve been getting chicken thighs to save money recently!
