I really love this song, her singing is so good, but I must admit that I prefer the lyrics video. It matches the feel of the lyrics perfectly and helps you understand the emotions she want to portray.
The conflicting emotions from the music video instead distracts me. It is like watching a movie while reading poetry.

I wish you did the lyric first, you really get to hear and see the lyrics to have it make sense. This is ok, but I do love her lyric videos.
I'm mystified. How does Chinchilla have multiple reaction/analysis videos on this channel while a rock legend the caliber of Ann Wilson of Heart has none? Ann Wilson has had 100 times the career Chinchilla has. Finding about up and coming vocalists is great, but learning about how the truly legendary vocalists became legends is fascinating! Variety is good!
Most likely due to 1) copyright issues and 2) views. The Ren tidal wave has caused a huge demand for reactors to cover these independent artists and they don't have every other video being blocked by the labels
Personally I'd rather Chris (and others like him, Elizabeth etc) highlight lesser known emerging artists who deserve to be well-known. Ann Wilson certainly needs no boost.
Agreeing with responses so far here. It is a BIG deal when a great artist gives permission for a reactor to review their work. Big names and legends may have their catalogue controlled by their record companies. Covering any of those will, at the very least, ensure a loss of revenue, and could even place the channel in jeopardy.
Independent artists are a big draw because they have control over their own music. Makes it a lot easier to get these reactions approved and not blocked. Hope this helps.

I won't give their full names here, since Chris didn't build this forum to promote them, but do you think for one second that EZ or KT would take the risk of losing money or losing their channels by analyzing Ann Wilson's singing? Not a chance.
@@Valaran1 While artists do get some exposure via these videos, that's a consequence of what Chris is doing - not a primary, as Chris's objective in making these videos is to teach. I want to learn from a variety and especially from the vocalists who attained legendary status, since that shows their singing captured the hearts and imaginations of millions and millions of people in a powerful way. That a vocalist such as Ann Wilson has had a career that has lasted somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 years also shows that she used vocal techniques that are sustainable, which is a vital concern to anyone wanting to be able to sing for a lifetime.
