Thanks for covering Zeta, I just picked her up recently and while I've been doing great in neutral I've really been lacking on more optimized routes off confirms. Can't believe she can put out this much damage off of her 623U..
Thanks for also including the risks she faces with some of her options. This was helpful in learning what to be careful of from this oppressive character. Looking forward to more.
Thanks for posting this. Much appreciated! Struggling to learn her without having a DP to rely on when in pressure so this will help me a lot by avoiding the pressure altogether lmao
@ShinLadFGC tbh yeah I can get it most of the time but why should I struggle to do this when I could literally go like seox and do easier combos for the same damage lol... or really any other character
how the heck can you do 623h->9H->2H into a medium so consistently same being able to do 214H->M so fast? I either drop it in both cases as the 214 takes a while to come out, but yours it is instant
Do more than strike/throw on c.L. Create distance sometimes, control neutral with footsies, and be unpredictable. I don't want to assume it's all you're doing, but it becomes very predictable and easily countered if you're just trying that the whole time. Try to catch them with frametraps or mix them up with high/lows in your autocombo to displace confidence and force them to make mistakes if they can't keep a level head. If they're expecting all of those other things it becomes much easier to actually confirm off-strike'/throws since they'll be trying to react to multiple situations at once.
I vocalize in simple inputs, doesn't matter what input system i write out someone from another camp is gonna complain so I picked one and stuck with it
Narmaya please. I’ve been watching high level play with her and it feels like her mechanics aren’t being used to their fullest. Maybe I’m watching the wrong people? 🤷♂️
Genuine question here about the notations. I know anime games normally have numpad notifications. Personally I hate numpad notifications its annoying to even read. Though my question is with GB, would it not be more easier to write using the simple inputs. Like say this as example. j.22u 623u Would it not just be easier to write j s1u s2u (s1 and s2 being the special 1, and special 2) I don't actually know what special 623 is, I assume it is the DP? I use zeta and I just use simple inputs in most cases except fireballs and SBAs. Thing is there is virtually no befit to using technical commands in this game either. Other than raw fireballs and SBAs for a 10% damage increase.
I choose what seemed to be the general consensus. Whatever format I use there will always be someone in the comments asking me to change it to something they personally prefer so while I agree your format may be easier I'll be keeping it numpad notation unless there's a large outcry for something else. Here's a link on how to read numpad notation glossary.infil.net/?t=Numpad%20Notation
@@ShinLadFGC No I get it, I know how to read numpad notations though personally the reading the writing of numbers like that is unnecessarily confusing to me. Still as you said general consensus. Anime games are written with numpad notations. On a similar note street fighter is written like cr.MP but people being foolish not following general consensus (of nearly 40 years) try to write it with anime game numpad notations instead. The point is with GB is that this the second game of the franchise, first game not even being that popular so in reality there is not a consensus of how the moves should be written for this game, but people are writing it as anime numpad notations by default. Thing is with this game 95% of the time you are gimping yourself by using the technical commands, and by extension teaching combos/writing combos not incorporating simple commands is gimping the player.
@@ShinLadFGC That is just a default. Some time in the past the street fighter, tekken, MK communities created a universal notation system for these games that have become the franchise norm for decades. With GB, its one game, and people just used default anime notations simply because it is an anime game, not exactly a consensus, its more of a lack of a consensus. Now especially with rising where using the simple inputs is in most cases the optimal input method, if there was a consensus I would assume people would think differently about using numpad notations for specials.
As someone who is new to GBVS/R, thank you for this...I fell in love with Zeta in first edition and finally bought the full game. But I'm perplexed by how GBVS mechanics is bit complex than GGST and DNFD, it's like everything is new.
YW! She's really fun and when you put the work in you feel the payoff ten fold. The mechanics are hard. The ingame tutorials are a good place to start. Diaphone also has a good video on them ruclips.net/video/1tsIutu2uKc/видео.htmlsi=8cugO5XYVLuV0sYo
Check out my previous guide like this where I covered Ferry ruclips.net/video/t0_F55Sk9B4/видео.html
Thanks
I really liked your Ferry guide and this other video came in just when I was considering to have Zeta as a secondary lol, you're doing God's work!
Appreciate the support
These videos are always super helpful for quick refreshers for me. Thanks again for all you do.
Glad to hear it!

This was a god send!! I felt so bad playing her and losing all the time lol you think you can do Narmaya next?
It's kinda nuts but when you look at the other top tiers you'll be happy you have it
Every character is hard at first even top tiers
Such a great guide short and sweet and all the unique uses very well made

Glad it was helpful! Definitely stay tuned for more incoming
Thanks for posting this. Much appreciated! Struggling to learn her without having a DP to rely on when in pressure so this will help me a lot by avoiding the pressure altogether lmao
YW! She still has options and sometimes her armored parry can be more beneficial than a true DP(although i'd rather have the DP XD)
Her armored parry is better than having a dp though.
@@Moth-Grinder650 Not if you mash too much like me lmaooo
@@Moth-Grinder650 It's really not. It CAN be, but more often than not, an actual DP would be preferable.
@@Moth-Grinder650not really a parry people will watch out for after it used one time, dp wont cause people to be cautious of it
oh you covered Zeta as well :D
That's two of my three favorites down!
It's so good!
What i love about zeta she can play either offensevely and defensely
I do play her very passively, it's really fun
Thank you so much for this, I just picked her up yesterday!
Good Hunting!
Great video! would love to see narmaya or lancelot next
Thanks for the idea!
I just got this game and im completely new to fighting games, seems like I've got a lot of practising to do
This was great, I could use some Anila pressure/combo knowledge.

Thank you my brother

Great video! Could you make one for Lancelot? His movement with his unique skill is pretty tricky, could use a guide on that!
Yes do lance please, or zooey or belial
Noted on all of those
Anila and Gran to also love the video thanks

im struggling alot to land close m from falling spear of arvess chains, ive tried doing it fast, delayed and it feels so inconsistent, help?
It's a "feel it out" timing tbh. I suggest slowing down my video and trying to replicate the height of the characters before doing the falling spear

Dont suppose you've got one of these for Percy? Im not turning up too many results for that
If these get enough traction i'll do the whole cast
