I've owned several brands of upscale e scooters and hands down, the Inokim Oxo is superior build quality (much thought put into it and built like a tank), superior ride quality and suspension, and it's wicked fast. Quick? Yes, but it's a more sensible acceleration curve than some others, making for a more comfortable and safer ride. Also, did something change with the OXO since this review, because mine is dual 1,000 motors, not 800W, per the Inokim website. I don't understand the lower rating for the OXO, but the consensus here seems to be that it is something other than the actual performance and quality of the scooter. I believe they even slighted it on range, where it is an undeniable standout. I even read a comment below from them saying "the OXO is a decent scooter", but they comment below that Dualtrons are "incredible." (come on guys.. not biased?) Some Dualtron models, in my opinion, have a sub-par build quality and features for the money , stem-wobble issues which have yet to be addressed, and noisy brakes on the Eagle Pro (everyone will know you're coming.)
I have the inokim oxo. One of the best escooter in the market hands down. The rest looks like they were assembled using parts from the junkyard. Especially Zero 10x.
What about the Apollo Phantom, Nanrobot D6+, Vesett 10+. Those were already available then and are better... Not to mention the recently released Wolf Warrior X or Dualtron Victor.
I recently received my first scooter, a dual 500W motor Kaabo Mantis 8, which I ordered directly from Kaabo for $999USD delivered. 26mph and I'm seeing about 18 miles in range. Love it, and I already can't wait to upgrade. Cheers!
Great video. But, the most important aspect of a scooter is RANGE than power. So, you guys really need to have that specific point clear out a bit better. Just saying that the battery is 24 Ah or 21Ah doesn't help much.
Enjoyed the vid guys, really good idea to compare similar scooters in the same price range and plenty of room to refine/expand on in the future. My take from the vid was if you want marginally lesser performance in lieu of more features, the Zero10x and Mantis are good options but if its sheer performance and you're happy to upgrade as you go, the Dualtron is the way to go 👍
@@iScoot Would be good to see a comparison of three or four scooters with similar features at different price points and evaluate time to top speed, max distance and AVG speed for max distance etc - just a thought? I've got a flashed Ninebot Max here in VIC and I've been weighing up a Zero 10x 60V as the next upgrade, based on the price point. Would be cool to see that compared to the Dualtron 3 / Ultra etc
@@jatari18 Great point! We're getting ready to do a few more videos, i'll let the team know. The 10X is a great scooter and a sensible upgrade. Watch our other video where we compare the 10X with the black edition and Bexly - might help when you are finalising your choice!
There is Inikom, a quality branded product, albeit built in the land of the rising unrest, and then there is the rest, from the land of the rising unrest.
I can't take Steve's ratings seriously, he really skewed this whole review. He barely understands what's happening poor guy, not really fit to rate these machines.
Thanks guys. Answered questions that i was looking for that you would think other reviews would answer such as the trunk test. The zero 10x passing the test has essentially sealed the deal for me.
Which one will still be going strong in 5+ years time? I'll choose the Toyota over the winner of some random test award, every time. A Ferrari will score better than a corolla on performance tests when both are brand new, the real test is time....
Sorry fellas, but the best scooter EVER for under $3k, is the Kaabo Wolf Warrior peeps!! It got 5400watts and a max speed of 55mph. Can’t beat that with what you guy’s brought here..!!
Feel like the OXO was a bit hard done by! I love mine to bits and hit a top speed of 68kph the other day. It's not the immediate rocket of the 10x I test drive but the smooth acceleration is a treat and the suspension is excellent. Oh well guess I better go test drive the Dualtron now!
You forgot to mention the OXO's biggest selling point, Build quality. Edit: I've heard horror story's about the other Chinese scooters falling apart during a high speed ride. Inokim may be manufactured in China but it's designed and quality controlled by a Israeli company.
Great video! I been looking at some scooter and this video helps a lot! It should have views! Anyway I’m looking between the Kaabo mantis pro the speedway 5 and my favorite so far the Dualtron eagle pro. There all within the same price range. Thank you :)
I'm not sure why the OXO and the Dualtron EX were in the same category as the Mantis and 10x. They are completely different price categories at nearly twice the price. I think these are all great scooters though.
Well tbh i bought the biggest Mantis Pro for 1913€ what is quite more less than 3k USD. So if i had the choice for 1,9k Kaabo or 3k Dualtron i would choose the Kaabo
I think you should have included rider weight limits (rider and gear adds up), suspension (type and travel), tyres (can you change to offroad). The 10x has dual 1200w motors not 1000w according to Zero specs for the 52v23amp. Also riding position, can you adjust handle grips, handle bar, throttle, what’s the rake of the bar - does the rake encroach on your standing space. Also width and length of platform and size of kick plate. If the roads are wet does the rider get wet?? ……..you will get absolutely filthy and drenched from behind with the spray that spins up from the zero - the guard doesn’t go far enough back which I find unbelievable really. I have modified my rear guard with the square bit of plastic out of the bottom of the woolies/coles bags…..works an absolute treat. It’s sitting on top but I’ll trim it up and put it underneath so there’s only an extra 1 inch lip out the back that won’t be too noticeable. I pity the person in a suit cruising down the city street if the roads are wet or he/she goes through a puddle. Power adjustment - how easy can the power be adjusted and, just how much can the power be dialled down if the kids want a go. All 4 scooters are great. I think Steve was way off the mark with scoring, other 3 guys kept it real but I think a lot more could have been rated between the 4 scooters. Cheers 🤘🤘🤘 Edit - and rider weights play a big part in testing. Few ballast bellies in there gents, nothing like a handicap🐘🐘🐘😁
Enjoyable vid fellas. Though I think you seemed to have missed out on a very important category: Value for Money. Always feel that the consumer is always going to pay a premium for Dualtron scooters. For features and what you get it's probably last out of the 4. Kaabo Mantis is probably top in this category. I do feel a little that the Kaabo was a little jipped with the result of this test. Mini Motors throttle and controller, Semi Hydraulic (Full Hydraulic on the Pro) and lighter overall weight makes it feel like it deserved more. Neck and neck with the 10X I reckon... though if the 10X had the same throttle and controller as the Dualtron and Kaabo, tell ya what... the 10X would be hard to beat! I've seen too many of the generic throttle and controller on the 10X go belly up from people experiences.
Do you guys need a vsett 11+ rear shimmer with suspension to fit on vsett 10+ that be looking bad ass set up instead of single shocks on rear way better and front it such perfect with steering damper and wider 12 inch wheels then part from that unritswap nice set of handle bars be marvelous to go for enjoy riding without using roads
Not discussing the suspension is like missing half the point. Noone cares about accelleration with scooters over 1kW, speed is limited or is going to be around half the world, so it's all battery life and how they behave on and offroad. Plus the OXO distance from bottom to folded stem top is highest only with the offroad insert. And hell, I bet most of you have an SUV, who cares how high it is? The Zero seems so nice until you realize you need a clamp and air shock for the rear right away. OXO one side arm is great for working on the tyres. Sold 1900-2100 EUR in EU wight now... Seems too much of "proprietary" stuff. It's a bit of an Apple thing, looks great, but limited. Zero and Mantis are even cheaper. 1700-2000k EUR tops. Mantis has no seat option and it's smaller and way too soft, actually. Dualtron is no less than 2600+ EUR, so the only one at 3k+ Blade 10 beats all of them but Dualtron anyway, apart for geometry issues (Zero has them too, Mantis and OXO somewhat). Even with the 28 Ah LG comes under 2k EUR. Shares some parts with Zero and regularly updated by Eonmotors. Nanrobot D6+ is shady at best, and they use the Poland DDP road to EU, so at least partially illegally imported, it's expensive at the source. Mercane MX60... well, a tank, but way too short deck and the best geometry comes with a stem and handlebar that push you too far back (and there is no far back on it).
Its not the "background" music. It's the music level on a whole, when you cut to b roll scenes... its blazingly loud! Way louder dialog. I have to turn the volume down every time the music kicks in and then turn it back up when you guys start talking. Other than that, cool videos guys, keep up the good work!
i dont understand why people just dont buy a emove crusier and take it from there with upgrading it the 30ah battery is there just convert to a 60v upfgrade controllers ya moving 60mph , switch up the suspension to what yu want then ya good to go
Build and engineering quality i d say the Mearth GTS And the GTS Pro all fall under the $3,000 price range..this is a real world trial after 2 months..
If the inokim ox single arm bends when over forced that is better than it breaking but I have dualtron and recommend them for any rider but especially any heavier rider.
Very poor review in my opinion. You had 4 different individuals each testing a different scooter. Also Iscoot did not get the distribution rights for Inokim, so obviously was going to rubbish the OXO. The OX was highly rated by The Electric Scooter Guide. That speaks for itself.
