Well I put the tomatoes and patatoes in checker box patterns with rice and corn, also in checker box pattern in between. Also used quality seeds or quality up fertilisers. It's simple and effective.
Update: I’ve planted the layout in Palia and noticed a few things I overlooked. Only about half of the crops get the 3 bonuses since tomatoes and potatoes have the same buff. That means that the cotton and rice only get 2 buffs. I’m not sure how this will affect the profits and bonuses but we’ll see. I’m thinking of making another layout with quality seeds and removing the cotton. I have to do some research into quality crops though. Anyways, I like to always improve and make sure the information I provide here is accurate so I wanted to make sure I provided an update in case anybody also wants to push the envelope with crop layouts.

🍅 farming is all you need. Within 2 or so days in game and you’ll have overflow of tomato’s and use the seeds you don’t reset your farm to buy more seeders. Repeat as you want because the money and excess seeds from even a 2x2 plot setup for beginners will carry you. If you handle your money even somewhat responsibly, you’ll have more than you need. No crop combo other than potato’s if you plan on taking a vacation from watering 🤷
