Extinction Rebellion Protests: "We Are Doing This For Those Who Don’t Have A Say In Their Future"

- Extinction Rebellion have vowed to ‘step up’ action unless the Government responds to two demands on climate change.
The collective specifications were: "For an immediate halt to all new coal, oil and gas exploration and set up emergency citizens assemblies to oversee a fair and people-led transition, centred on reparatory justice".
The deadline for the demands was 24th April at 5pm, which has now expired.
TalkTV’s Vanessa Feltz is joined by Extinction Rebellion spokesperson and activist Etienne Scott to discuss the pledges and what’s next for the organisation.
Etienne says: "We are doing this for those in pushchairs who don’t have a say in the scandalous, horrific injustice that is the future of their lives”.

The climate did change the landscape, but not because of man made emmissions.
The landbridge existed because there was a chalk "dam" between the north sea and English channel. A clearly natural event cause surges of water to spill over and erode the chalk dam, and thus raised the English channel water levels, submerging the landbridge.
Get it through your ideological tinted glasses, that the natural world is far greater, and far more powerful than the human race, and anything that it can do.
Any small changes that are happening are consequences of a natural cycle.

If they feel they are right and backed by science in their beliefs if I was one of them that felt this strongly about this then I would be calling for us to take the fight to the world’s biggest polluters. I would go to they countries to protest also so the fact that this is not already happening by extinction rebellion tells me everything I need to know. They are not in they countries protesting witch tells us they don’t really believe in what they are protesting against.

They didn't even ask how these assemblies would be organised, the speakers invited to address them. Policies grounded in a reality being constructed by UN bureaucracy not scientists. Should have asked about how the IPCC reports are written at the very least. I can guess he has zero knowledge of such.
However this planet came to be created it is a wonderful, incredible place however what is even more amazing is how it provides for all our needs. World carbon dioxide are .04% of the total gasses. If they go down we and our food supply will die.
