Class act! No doubt. We feel ya Bob. Rest in peace Jesus got ya covered bro
Second helping is a great album... I was fortunate to see them November 1976 at the Flint IMA Auditorium my dad took me it was the third concert that I went to I was only 13 at the time
Reminds me when my dad took me to see them at thunder valley in 2014, not the original band but with Gary was better than now in 2023- which they should’ve retired the name, but he put me onto all of their 1973-77 stuff thankfully, this band has changed my life
Wish this wet more into detail. Loved this album. Purchased it as soon as it hit the market. Great album from a great band. 🥁🎸
That was a great band.
I need to just buy this DVD I love it. Favourite band in the world !
What is this DVD? Do you know the name of it?
Second Helping was the first album I had gotten. Was a Christmas present in 1973🎉or 4.I played both sides over and over, wasn't long before I knew every word to every song. Those were good times that I miss very much.
Got it in my CD player right now 😎🎸
I miss my buddy bob burns we became very close when he moved to cartersville gs where he passed miss him
Cartersville ga
This was/is "Thee" Lynyrd Skynyrd album, their masterpiece, that defines and exhibits who and what they were as a band and individual talents, if I could only have one, it would be "Second Helping" ☮️
Awesome Alex👍《☆》DUUUVAAAALLL😎🎱☮🔊
Skynyrd #1
Bob Burns "thought the cat was The Devil." I guess that explains his problem with cats.
But that was because of the mushrooms... LOL
Poor Bob, I like the recordings with him playing the drums the best....
@@onazram1 I do as well. Burns kept the beat & the groove; Pyle most probably say, "better" but I think he overplayed too much - too often trying to fit too many notes into too short a space. Burns never overplayed & why should he? 2 or 3 lead guitars & a keyboardist who, as Ed King said, "never laid out." I wish Burns didn't go off the deep end.
I’m building a guitar from wood from the Hell House original Dock, and foundation from Hell House, and incorporating metal from the plane. Once it’s complete we will loan it out to touring musicians so those timber’s will continue to sing and vibrate. LLLS.
Long Live Lynyrd Skynyrd.. if anybody knows Gary Rossington I’d love for him to sign it when complete, or donate a pick, or something I can incorporate into it. Tell him to hit me up..
So I've heard. Are you finished the guitar yet?
@@derekcollins1972 installing hardware, and inlay on the pick guard now. Custom coils being completed now too. Craig Reed also gave me the last picks he has of Allen and Steve with signed COA from him. The picks were with him on the crash. They will be included in the presentation case as well as picks from Leon, Gary and Ed.
What an amazing project, such a cool idea, that guitar will have a soul and an importance unlike any other, much respect to you my friend I hope I get to see a picture of it when it's done 👍
@@MeatGawds How is it going now and where can we see....
@@MeatGawds I'd love to see it. Thanks
Their Netflix documentary is really good.
Gr8 album! My intro
What documentary is this? I don't recognize Bob in that getup! It looks familiar but I must not have seen it..
Does anybody know what this documentary is called
It's "Things Goin On, The Lynard Skynard Story." ruclips.net/video/U7MqFMdJ-E0/видео.html
@@operationskunkworks5914 Thanks a lot !!!
@@augierivera6171 No problem. Glad to help.
It's actually footage from "If I Leave Here Tomorrow" - it was an HBO documentary about the band. Someone on youtube chopped up the footage and used footage from other stuff too and made their own documentary, but this footage is from that HBO documentary.
@@TonyBeazley -Don't be so hard on him Tony. Alex is probably a huge fan and may have wanted to make a tribute. Or maybe Alex is a huge fan of yours and wants to follow in your footsteps. Who knows right? But cut him some slack until you know. Either way, I think your awesome and enjoy your work. Please keep it up and stay happy 👍 God Bless you all. Love Skynyrd.

This has a great idea. But, the editing is poop.
Did Bob Burns have bipolar? It seems like he might have
Yes, I do recall reading that.
Lynyrd Skynyrd the GREATEST AMERICAN ROCK BAND of ALL TIME !!!!!
