About 6 drones. Some mavics, some phantoms, inspire2. Crashing is part of the learning process. It will happen. So be ready. Crashing a drone is a very good lesson. It teaches you how to react in unpredictable situations. :)
This was definitely helpful and cannot wait to test out the video settings on my Dji Mini 2. I have recorded in 4k and 1080p but every time I upload the videos it goes to 720 and they are always blurry like parts of it get sharp then fade, so I will test out these settings later..

Great video with lots of useful tips. I just bought the DJI Mini 2 AND the Parrot Anafi (to replace the Anafi I crashed recently). Out of the box, the camera on the Anafi seems way better, and more pleasing to the eye, than the DJI Mini 2. The Anafi is warm, with good dynamic range. The Mini 2 is sharp, but has poor dynamic range: You are either dealing with whites blowing up the image, or (if you tone down the whites), you are dealing with very dark shadows. Having said that, this guy's images look great. It's gotta be the lens filters, I think. So...I'm giving this drone one more chance, and see what the filters do. P.S. I also like how he describes good images as being "crispy." :>)

How can you get rid of the aliasing flickering? ALso I get artifacts in distance blackspots ... This disturbs the picture pretty much. I see the flickering you also have on thin lines in the picture.

Don’t worry, if you will worry - you will atract those types of scenarios. Fear will only bring you down. Whenever you fly. Before you fly. Say out loud - this is going to be a safe flight! And it will be.

The fly more is just extra batteries and some spare parts right? The mini 2 has a lot better features and I think it’ll be worth that one, maybe save up for some extra batteries in the future??
I have both mm1 & mm2. The mm2 uses ocusync2!!! A big plus in every way . From an ify 2.5 mile connection range to a 5.8 stable , reliable video connection, free of wi-fi interference. BUYING CARE REFRESH IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE POOP HAPPENS TO GOOD PILOT S. MY MM1 gimbal was damaged but video feed still worked without gimbal pitch adjustment, shakey image also. Me so sad. Mm2 fly more with 2 yrs care refresh, $720 later... Ck to make sure your phone is compatable to load DJI FLY app (i did Not) add $500 & change for my new i pad pro 11... Feel me?
I would recomend on changing the attitude. With the one you have you won’t get very far. Fear is what attracts all of those mishaps. You create your own reality.
I have crashed the drone many times. And every time I learn something. It’s all about the mindset. If you have it clear and calm, birds will leave you alone. I know you might think differently. P.s. I have flown in places with a lot of birds. Just keep calm and be friends with birds.
Nice Job. Your drone videos are very smooth, I can only view them in 1080p because of the device I am using. I find when I upload to RUclips the quality of the videos are degraded, how is it you maintain such high quality. 🤔

Exactly what I was going to post. There would be no point in being able to digitally zoom at the same time as raising or lowering the gimbal. You can do it better - or at least with more control - in post than you ever could physically, and the IQ would be exactly the same.
That is a myth. With the Mini 2, there is a quality difference between cropping a 4K in post and recoding in crop mode. It has to do with sensor readout speed, h264 chroma subsampling, data rate allocation, exposure, etc etc.

The fly more combo comes with a prop protector. I don't think the standalone version does, but I would recommend the combo anyway.
