I tried all four (including Baleno) before booking. I have to drive around 50 minutes up and down on a daily basis to and from my office. I already have a maruti and Hyundai car.
What stood out for me is the seat comfort and thigh support in Baleno and Glanza. I drove all 4 and figured that Baleno and Glanza are leagues above in the seating comfort.
The winner came out to be glanza as it's interior is brighter of the two and offers warranty up to 1Lakh kilometres and machine cut alloy in the same variant as Baleno with a price difference of around 25k...

Among these i20 is the most premium from outside as well as inside and its engine is also the best but it is priced a little on the higher side
But as per GNCAP i20's structure is unstable which makes it the most dangerous as well :(

I chose Altroz turbo Dark (10.95L on road) over i20N8 (14L on road).
There is a big difference in price and honestly cabin quality in terms of material altroz is much better as after 17465kms in 6 months rough use altroz cabin is not rattling.
In know about Hyundai i20s as my last car was elite i20 asta O diesel and it rattled a lot and new i20 feels even cheaper inside with respect to quality of material (leave small touch points bits) .
I20 is just a feel good car and not a 10year no rattle car, i have experience in that matter of i20s.
Among these three, wheelbase is more for i20, so spacious interior with 3 person comfortable rear seats.
I bought glanza this June.. really happy with the car in terms of everything 😊😊

@@manikverma281 meine abhi tak city me drive kiya hai almost 300-400 km. It gave me 16-17 kmpl. If i go on highway it will give more for sure.😊

Although all the 3 cars are good in their price points but i20 is slightly overpriced and structurally unstable car ( as per GNCAP). But in looks n features i20 is so amazing.
For me Safety is more of a priority then features. Heads up for Altroz.

In the name of safety Tata is selling Tiago petrol engine at a premium price. Hence it is the least refined engine with mediocre performance. Glanza is better I guess..

Budget tight hai.. but tata lena chahta hu... lekin service aur spare parts ki availabilities poor hai ky..? Jyda pareshani hogi ky..? Mujh jaise First time car user ko...? Please clear my. Doubts as u owned tata altroz for 2 years almost.😐
@@sonyratan I haven't faced a lot of issues with Tata but yes, small problems here and there are very common with Tata vehicles , but I am out and out a automotive guy and I know even the engineering aspect of automotive industry so it becomes much easier for me to tackle any and every situation. And believe me, there will be situations with Tata vehicles, it's not like it's a VW where everything is taken care of by the service.
if I am being very honest, please do not buy a Tata vehicle as your first car.(people might disagree, but that's the truth)
NOW, IF YOU STILL WANT TO BUY
Service is OK at best. You have to literally stand there in service center and order them to follow whats written in use a manual in-service section(for that have to read service section carefully)
2. Always be present when they change oil.
3. Very IMPORTANT- do not for one second go soft on service center people if there is a part that is not right and you want to change it or claim it under warranty be absolutely ruthless to service center people and have it changed, if they do not help you take email ID of service manager and CC him in the loop with a complaint on companies email address.
OR SIMPLY YOU CAN BUY VOLKSWAGEN THEY LITERALLY TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING HYUNDAI IS ALSO GOOD, BUT YOU DON'T GET THE SAFETY.
TATA IS AN EXPERIENCE IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE TO MAINTAIN A CAR AND FEEL PRIDE IN IT DEFINITELY GO FOR TATA BECAUSE TATA CARS ARE ACTUALLY GOOD CARS IT'S ONLY SMALL HEADACHES HERE AND THERE THAT MAKES YOU FEEL MORE INVOLVED BUT TIRED AT THE SAME TIME .

@@sonyratan again Tata are really good cars, they don't rattle, built, is absolutely brilliant, but service is not, service is absolute garbage, honestly I think if you're not a car guy you would have a very difficult time to keep the car up-to-date, but if you can manage it, you will have a wonderful experience with Tata cars, especially the sense of safety you get, because they feel tough.

Being a Hyundai user for last 10 years and Tata user for last 3 years, i would now try glanza, Toyota product for it will come from Toyota. I am vouching on good after sales service which is good in Hyundai and pathetic in Tata. Yes build quality is lesser compared to Tata, but then i would go for G or V for 6 airbags. Hyundai after sales service has also deteriorated but still way better than Tata. Also i am going to avoid Tata for cars full of glitches like engine locked issue, nvh due to unrefined engine, rattlings, poor mileage and low spare availability with pathetic and irresponsible behaviour from service advisors as icing on top.

The automatic transmission in new glanza has a lag while changing gears, should have been CVT like earlier models unlike AMT this time, which is not such a good Automatic gear system

Considered buying one of these as my first car. It was very difficult to reject the Glanza coz the AMT was a gem. Finally chose the i20 iVT for better rear seat comfort, armrest and premium fit and finish. Altroz was out of contention for somehow reminding of an Indica and having a three cylinder engine

@@funmaniacrazyworld it’s not that straightforward. You either choose to buy a sturdier chassis for peace of mind in an eventuality and compromise on refinement and comfort everyday OR pick a less sturdy chassis for overall smooth and happy experience everyday.
Either way you drink poison, it’s upto you and your needs what you drink.
All mass market cars in this segment are passive safety cars so the safety argument also is tinted if you look closely.
I chose Altroz as safety was my first priority. I bought the NA version and touchwood it does not even feel 3 cylinder. Awesome premium car. i20 was never in my list because GNCAP has stated that the "car structure is unstable" so a most dangerous car unfortunately.
Pls be careful and don't ride much on highways.

I have seen people selling i20 within 6 months of purchase. Interior feel bit plasticy and built quality is not good. Even minor scratch leave dent on the body. If one needs good engine go for glanza otherwise altroz is very good option.

And if your budget is around or more 9 lacks then you should get at least punch acomplished. and if you has “Odhel poisa” then get the most expensive one. 😄👍🏻
