@@All-pervading K series with Maruti AMT perform better than 3cyl revotron with DCA. Powertrain means combination of Engine + Gearbox and not gearbox alone. Imagine putting Dsg in a regular Polo 1.2 mpi thats the situation.

I personally own MS Baleno 2022. I have tested both the cars. I feel both cars have their own pros and cons. But the reviewer is completely biased towards TATA Altroz. I don’t why. Didn’t expect a completely biased review from your channel and annoying he is recommending Altroz. Totally funny. Kseries engine can never be compared with Tata engines.
Bro you must also compare both the cars by your own and then feel what your heart says. If it was comparison between maruti and Hyundai then we would have said it a biased review but when compared with tata you must have to agree with the drive, comfort and safety it offers. Maruti just works on mileage, features, and aesthetic appeals and like other car makers. But in case of TATA if you ignore the service, you will get the best car in overall package. By the way I am not owner of any of these two. I have Hyundai i 20 but once I drove Altroz, I got in love with it all of sudden.
What will we do with kseries engines. At the end of 10-12 years it's just scrap. But the compromises in these years are surely not the things to be forgotten.
I have driven baleno 2021 and altroz . I must say the engine and gearbox is really good. And front seats are best in class. I have driven altroz it vibrates a lot and headlight of baleno is also really good. 2:07 he is saying zero star in latin ncap. But it scored more than double points than verna but he will say verna is safe. Tata altroz's DRL looks aftermarket. Its the only premium hatchback that has halogen headlamps and taillamps. Altroz iturbo can be compared to k series engine

Yeah the Altroz is better in all categories which is why everyone is buying Baleno. What a joke of a review coming from a big channel like Motorbeam. Yes, the Tata is better in some aspects but the way the reviewer is just ready to look down on the Suzuki, I mean you could have been a little subtle with the bias but damn you're putting out words like someone paid you to do so. Heck even the i20 outsells the Altroz and you start off the video by saying two of the most popular premium hatchbacks in the market? Might as well put a sponsored tag at the video description.

Problem is you have used only maruthi, I have used Fiat Palio, Beat, M800 and Tata Nexon, Its Palio that is close to heart and next is Nexon, MS has really refined engines that it, rest all are not as good as you think, I never faced any problems in any of four cars, all where there for exactly 8 years.

Baleno seat is too soft . Ur back will start aching in long journey that's not at all adequate for comfort as well as for your back. As far as service is concerned Suzuki's customer satisfaction index is below tata this month. 😉 Though service of tata is improving and Suzuki has upper hand but customers said something different this month
1. Improve engine refinement. Give 4 cylinder engine to NA and turbo engines. 2. Imporve service network 3. Improve after sales service 4. Improve reliability 5. Atleast give LED headlamps as an accessory 6. Give sunroof, Ventilated seats and wireless charger, not necessary though... 7. Give DCA to Turbo and diesel automatic option. Also, tune the DCA better. Altroz can become a perfect choice for anyone who wants a premium hatchback...
I have Altroz and the after sales service is much good than others, they remind me everytime for updates and services, even if I say i m not available for few days then they remind me again after few days.
1) Cannot give 4 cylinder petrol engine in budget segmet, which has good quality body shell. It will increase weight, will lead to poor driving, and will shorten mileage. Polo, XUV 300, Figo, aspire and many more has 3 cylinder engines. Pappads like Swift, I20 , i20 etc has 4 cylinder. But diesels of TATA has 4 cylinder. Because Diesel engines produce more torque with good mileage . 2) TATA service is better now, many good ones are there. Sure some are still bad, just avoid them. 3) Improving , because before Tiago TATA was almost to dust, it's now hardly 5 - 6 years TATA came on foot. 4) TATA owners never will have the fate of Ford, Chevrolet, Fiat owners. Speaking of reliability, even the old Indica, still get spares, whereas many other cars struggling even for a air filter 5) Agreed 6) agreed we can add them .. but why cant you ask Maruti, to add supreme ride quality, handling, & safety as necessary? 7) Altroz DCA is better with wet clutch. Turbo + DCT is needed. But, for the price of Altroz DCA, people are buying Punch AMTs, and Nexons.That's the reality

I was about to buy altroz topend but after I went to baleno test drive that drove me crazy ... The refinement is on another level... Don't get fooled on some points that - baleno looks way premium inside... Baleno is linear and sharp bonet, offers a better mileage .. 4 cylenider.. way more comfortable seats, I guess the best in the segment. Heads-up display - I forget that I have dedicated instrument cluster when I drive the car because it's super usefull and you don't want to see speedo when it's on. Build quality is definitely improved... For the people who wants to test it from it's outer shell, go the showroom next to you and lift the bonet- that's heavy and you'll get a confidence on it's outer shell. Yes the speakers on the altroz is definitely sounds good- the bass actually. Baleno speakers are decent enough. And the best selling point is - Rev the engine on both the cars ... The soothing sporty sound will tell you which one to buy... Altroz with that ambient light 🔥 Tyre pressure monitoring 🔥 Automatic vipers 🔥 The engine integration under the hood 🔥 Backseat armrest 🔥 Seatbelts on Altroz 🔥
Didn't expect such callous comment from a good channel like you. Latin NCAP and Global NCAP are not comparable. It's really strict.. For example the new Tucson got 5 star in Euro NCAP (which is more strict and GNCAP) but scored 0 star in Latin NCAP. If Baleno is based on heartect platform probably it will be >= 2 stars in base variant and higher in top end, is what you should have mentioned.
Tata actually scored 5 in gncap, 5 in euro ncap, 5 in Asian Ncap. it was tested in all three because Tata was planning to release altroz in UK and Europe too but that is going to happen in 2025 with gen2 altroz. Tata is already planing to sell Altroz,punch, safari in latin america so you will see 5star there too. Just FYI GNCAP and Euro is the strictest. Tuscon in latin was a latin only spec version, so gather all the knowledge and then type.

true,,, feels this video is biased,,,, service, engine noise( 3 cylinder petrol engine and unrefined diesel engine) ,, add on is the on road price u pay for both the cars,,, baleno comes at lower price(less feature like music system and seat upholstery much more ) but gets basic feature a normal man will need in day to day life.... talking about crash test,,, people who dont go on highway runs or major highways run (highways which are extremely busy and fast like delhi or mumbai) u can definitely go with baleno.,,, And baleno back seats are best in every way,,, no matter what youtubers say.... but baleno is super comfortable from inside.. specially comapred to altroz..(its my personal opinion) at last all these people who talk about safety are same who,,, buy altroz(tata cars) for safety but when it comes to day to day life running of offices or business,,, they will keep a spare scooty or splendor coz of mileage and .... will definitely run on -10 star rating bikes on city road... big LOL Atleast baleno will serve and save their owners from heavy rain falls or summer heat and winters (maruti owners dont need to keep a spare bike for mileage) ... unlike tata owners moving with scooty on roads.

Mileage: City-13 to 15 & Highways/long drive- 17.5 to 21.5 (kmpl) 3. Stability: Great/Excellent 4. Dynamics: Excellent 5. Storage: Good compared to its competitors 6. Erganomics: Good 7. Stability: Excellent & cornering is too good 8. Braking & safety: Excellent (compared to its competitors) 9. Design: Both exterior & interior are great 10: AC: Excellent cooling 11. Service(Car & Customer service): Strongly has to be improved a lot lot lot... 12. Engine noise: NVMs are good upto speed 100 kmph... 13. Music system: Excellent 14. Seat capacity: 5 adults Altroz is a great car to go... Petrol Engine(drivability should be like, go with the flow, gentle & lenient)... If you need a punchy engine go for Diesel one(4cyl + 1.5 ltr engine)...

@@rohankatare07 Not an issue at all. Netter to drive bit carefully. I have to drive on big potholes made by heavy trucks almost daily. Never had a touch with ground. Suspension is on stiffer side and also its weight, which makes feel us like moving on butter.

@@imthe_catgod Everyone knows Tata uses High-strength carbon steel and high-strength steel but Maruti still doesn't use high strength steel let alone High-strength carbon steel. The use of HSS and HSCS makes the car more rigid, and good for handling and crash protecting. Also, the materials used inside are way high quality as compare to Maruti, like plastics, door and body damping, rubber gas kits for better seal (great sound insulation). Maruti lacks all of that.😂 So why wouldn't he like it? Don't worry I am a VW fan boy 😅
After the launch of Punch, Altroz is now a Flop model selling around 5k average, less than i20 and way lesser than Baleno. Even after the introduction of Automatic Altroz didn't get the traction in sales.
This is because Tata is running at full capacity, Tata has already reached full production levels every month. After they start running new Ford plant production will increase drastically.

i never drove Bleno but saftey will be my biggest positive in Tata . but on the negative side - it has lot of lag on 2nd gear , the suto start stop at signal has ben a a bit haywire for me . but the overall feeling is Altroz is a good car .
I own a Baleno 2022 Alpha trim and it easily beats Altroz in Engine/Gearbox, After sales service, great cabin, best mileage and NVH levels. 6 Airbags and decent safety as well. But engine wise Baleno has best NA petrol engine below 10L. p.s. I also test driven i20 Asta, Venue, Magnite, Amaze, Kiger and so on. I felt Baleno is best choice considering the practicality. Altroz is good for 5 star ratings but engine is poor especially NA variant, poor service

I have an altroz and points which altroz takes are built quality, handling,riding comfort and design for me. But baleno's engine is better and refined, 4 cylinder against tata's 3 cylinder and also noise in the cabin is more quiet when compared to altroz, after sales and service is top notch and resale value is also very good. Although I think resale of altroz is very good but sample size is small. I think there was obvious bias towards altroz in this video. Both the cars are good and vfm and both have there own strong points. And for after sales amd service I have not encounter any problems and honestly the people in the service centre and showroor are very helpful here in my city. Cant talk about others because I have heard many problems in this case with tata and they should improve it
I have driven 3 crs in this segment before finally settling with one (Baleno, Altroz, i20) also Kiger and Magnite, but let's stick to the Hatchbacks. It's useless to compare these cars and moronic to fight amongst ourselves. All these cars has It's own benefits and downsides. Finally, it boils down to what you need the car for. I'm just going to share my experience with these car 1. Performance/engine refinements, for me i20, takes these categories, but Baleno isn't much behind either. Altroz engine is though good, but a little "laggie" also refinement is an issue with this one. 2. Design, I tried i20 N line and boy it blows the other 2 out of the water! Interior and exterior. Some would say new Baleno is nice looking, especially Interior has been improved a lot. But still i20 hands-down the winner. Some would choose Altroz's design, but some people have poor taste. Not their fault. 3. Safety is where the Altroz thrives, i20 needs to improve here. And Baleno is probably the worst given it's weight and Maruti being notorious for its poor build quality. 4. Mailage is Baleno's forte. There's no compilation here. Altroz is decent, but i20 is just the worst. 5. Value for money: Here, Baleno and Altroz give each other a tough competition. Altroz is a solid car but Tata's after sales is a hit and miss. I20 on the other hand, is a bit overpriced. To sum it up, it's your unique situation that would decide which one's gonna be the best for you.

This is a biased review. Baleno lag in some area but it has some pros too like Engin performance, Smoothness better gearbox and space over Altroz, which the host don't mention.

Night driving is an issue with Tata Altroz ..they must improve it and 2nd 6 air bag option should be available and third 360 camera should also be included . Dark edition in diesel is i think still not available
I think 🤔 ur Review is Based only Altroz.Baleno Got some more features & Maruti improved the quality in baleno. Rear seat space is good&better than altroz. Altroz dashboard is not more premium than Baleno. Baleno dash board is eye-catching. Altroz seat cushions is slightly hard so they could not provide luxury feel. Baleno got 360 degree camera Headup display.6 Airbags,ABD,EBD, auto headlights, Tranction control.And loaded with 20New features. Both cars are leading in the market. Some features are better than altroz. Some features are better than Baleno. Head light visible in night altroz is worst.
What about the Service centers? After sales services? Mileage? Engine reliability? NVH Levels? Light throw at night? Road side assistance? Resale value? No. of airbags?
After driving altroz, kiger, i10, i bought baleno zeta cng @10lakhs in diwali 2023 offer. Baleno build quality has improved in 2023 models. Engine and gear box is smooth. No nosie in the cabin. I get 30kmpl mileage in cng mode. After sales service is good in nexa..
Most opinionated video that is apparent from a mile away...no doubt, Tata Altroz is engineered well, but the elephant in the room (NA petrol engine) will be readily apparent especially in a comparison video. Engine is passable for sedate driving and can be overlooked in a dedicated review video...But it is indefensible to overlook the NA engine in a comparison. Can't stand the way the presenter stooped too low to hide few shortcomings in Tata Altroz such as the infotainment unit being smaller and laggy compared to updated Baleno. Love TATA and the value proposition that they bring to the market but like all products, their's are also prone to have some shortcomings and their is nothing wrong in telling that!

Although I am a tata car owner. There is one serious con in altroz that everyone knows but he failed to mention that is the NA 3 cyl engine option. It is unnecessary for this car. That engine best suits tiago but not this one because of some increase in weight. So it struggles to handle this car and lot of owners with that variant are crying with it. Tata should discontinue that option for better.
Tata Altroz more premium bro just take a look at those features in baleno, due to recent updates in premium hatchbacks altroz looks dated now with no Led's and interior info system
When comparing two cars please don't be bias to one of them. You shared the positive sides of Tata altroz but not that of Baleno. The instrument cluster of Maruti Baleno has no match with Tata altroz. Fantastic design of gauges. Moreover the premium design of Baleno always makes people look the car again and again especially in silver colour
This is a paid promotion. Altroz may have a strong body, the interiors, engine and gear are horrible. The panel gaps can host a rat. Where is the preminiumnesss. Servicing guys can mess the car instead of getting it right... horrible horrible.
As much as I would love to own a Baleno when it comes to pricing and features, don't you think safety should be one of, if not the top priority when it comes to taking you and your loved ones around? Personally, the Altroz takes the cake for me. Tata and their cars have always felt a little behind when it came to tech, but recently they have made it up with their quality and safety when it comes to construction. My best would be the Altroz. And it should be yours too if safety is key to you.

I personally own MS Baleno 2022. I have tested both the cars. I feel both cars have their own pros and cons. But the reviewer is completely biased towards TATA Altroz. I don’t why. Didn’t expect a completely biased review from your channel and annoying he is recommending Altroz. Totally funny. Kseries engine can never be compared with Tata engines.

If it was comparison between maruti and Hyundai then we would have said it a biased review but when compared with tata you must have to agree with the drive, comfort and safety it offers. Maruti just works on mileage, features, and aesthetic appeals and like other car makers. But in case of TATA if you ignore the service, you will get the best car in overall package.
By the way I am not owner of any of these two. I have Hyundai i 20 but once I drove Altroz, I got in love with it all of sudden.
What will we do with kseries engines. At the end of 10-12 years it's just scrap. But the compromises in these years are surely not the things to be forgotten.
I have driven baleno 2021 and altroz . I must say the engine and gearbox is really good. And front seats are best in class. I have driven altroz it vibrates a lot and headlight of baleno is also really good. 2:07 he is saying zero star in latin ncap. But it scored more than double points than verna but he will say verna is safe. Tata altroz's DRL looks aftermarket. Its the only premium hatchback that has halogen headlamps and taillamps. Altroz iturbo can be compared to k series engine

Problem is you have used only maruthi, I have used Fiat Palio, Beat, M800 and Tata Nexon, Its Palio that is close to heart and next is Nexon, MS has really refined engines that it, rest all are not as good as you think, I never faced any problems in any of four cars, all where there for exactly 8 years.

7. Give DCA to Turbo and diesel automatic option. Also, tune the DCA better.

We have 2 Tata cars in home and after sales service is really good.
I have Altroz and the after sales service is much good than others, they remind me everytime for updates and services, even if I say i m not available for few days then they remind me again after few days.

1) Cannot give 4 cylinder petrol engine in budget segmet, which has good quality body shell. It will increase weight, will lead to poor driving, and will shorten mileage. Polo, XUV 300, Figo, aspire and many more has 3 cylinder engines. Pappads like Swift, I20 , i20 etc has 4 cylinder. But diesels of TATA has 4 cylinder. Because Diesel engines produce more torque with good mileage .
2) TATA service is better now, many good ones are there. Sure some are still bad, just avoid them.
3) Improving , because before Tiago TATA was almost to dust, it's now hardly 5 - 6 years TATA came on foot.
4) TATA owners never will have the fate of Ford, Chevrolet, Fiat owners. Speaking of reliability, even the old Indica, still get spares, whereas many other cars struggling even for a air filter

I was about to buy altroz topend but after I went to baleno test drive that drove me crazy ... The refinement is on another level... Don't get fooled on some points that - baleno looks way premium inside... Baleno is linear and sharp bonet, offers a better mileage ..
4 cylenider.. way more comfortable seats, I guess the best in the segment.
Heads-up display - I forget that I have dedicated instrument cluster when I drive the car because it's super usefull and you don't want to see speedo when it's on.
Build quality is definitely improved... For the people who wants to test it from it's outer shell, go the showroom next to you and lift the bonet- that's heavy and you'll get a confidence on it's outer shell.
Yes the speakers on the altroz is definitely sounds good- the bass actually. Baleno speakers are decent enough.

Didn't expect such callous comment from a good channel like you. Latin NCAP and Global NCAP are not comparable. It's really strict.. For example the new Tucson got 5 star in Euro NCAP (which is more strict and GNCAP) but scored 0 star in Latin NCAP.
If Baleno is based on heartect platform probably it will be >= 2 stars in base variant and higher in top end, is what you should have mentioned.
tucson from euo ncap is not the same tucson sold in india, otherwise it wud 7* in GNCAP :)
Tata actually scored 5 in gncap, 5 in euro ncap, 5 in Asian Ncap. it was tested in all three because Tata was planning to release altroz in UK and Europe too but that is going to happen in 2025 with gen2 altroz.
Tata is already planing to sell Altroz,punch, safari in latin america so you will see 5star there too.
Just FYI GNCAP and Euro is the strictest.
Tuscon in latin was a latin only spec version, so gather all the knowledge and then type.

11. Service(Car & Customer service): Strongly has to be improved a lot lot lot...

Altroz is a great car to go... Petrol Engine(drivability should be like, go with the flow, gentle & lenient)... If you need a punchy engine go for Diesel one(4cyl + 1.5 ltr engine)...

The use of HSS and HSCS makes the car more rigid, and good for handling and crash protecting.
Also, the materials used inside are way high quality as compare to Maruti, like plastics, door and body damping, rubber gas kits for better seal (great sound insulation). Maruti lacks all of that.😂

I own a Baleno 2022 Alpha trim and it easily beats Altroz in Engine/Gearbox, After sales service, great cabin, best mileage and NVH levels. 6 Airbags and decent safety as well. But engine wise Baleno has best NA petrol engine below 10L. p.s. I also test driven i20 Asta, Venue, Magnite, Amaze, Kiger and so on. I felt Baleno is best choice considering the practicality.
Altroz is good for 5 star ratings but engine is poor especially NA variant, poor service
but whatever Maruti is fuck all, see even cheap quality material inside the cabin as well......

Moreover tata/mahindra cars won't guarantee life when met with accident, ultimately its fate... Even recently people lost lives in altroz with so called 5* rating and its engine is shit

Design is subjective for everyone what u feel others may not feel same. I personally feel altroz looks sharp baleno is curvy both hv their own designing but saying altroz is overdone is not true at all
@@aayushmaanjaiswal0806 sharp design doesnt mean its better looking from all angles ...A design must age well and should be charming even after years to come.. 3 or 4 years down the lane altroz will look outdated when next gen arrives while Baleno will still have a charm because of its clean design elements..Altroz design feels like tata has tried harder to get rid of the old indica vibes but personally I feel its not that appealing from front and rear...Even the previous gen baleno looks better to me than Altroz..

Neither me nor u are designer facelifts are for that reason anyways they hv got rid of indica design it doesn't give any resemblance to indica from any point. It's completely based on their latest impact 2.0 theme .old Baleno looked ugly with curvy headlights this one looks atleast better but everyone has different taste.
I have an altroz and points which altroz takes are built quality, handling,riding comfort and design for me. But baleno's engine is better and refined, 4 cylinder against tata's 3 cylinder and also noise in the cabin is more quiet when compared to altroz, after sales and service is top notch and resale value is also very good. Although I think resale of altroz is very good but sample size is small.
I think there was obvious bias towards altroz in this video. Both the cars are good and vfm and both have there own strong points.
And for after sales amd service I have not encounter any problems and honestly the people in the service centre and showroor are very helpful here in my city. Cant talk about others because I have heard many problems in this case with tata and they should improve it

I have driven 3 crs in this segment before finally settling with one (Baleno, Altroz, i20) also Kiger and Magnite, but let's stick to the Hatchbacks. It's useless to compare these cars and moronic to fight amongst ourselves. All these cars has It's own benefits and downsides. Finally, it boils down to what you need the car for. I'm just going to share my experience with these car
1. Performance/engine refinements, for me i20, takes these categories, but Baleno isn't much behind either. Altroz engine is though good, but a little "laggie" also refinement is an issue with this one.
2. Design, I tried i20 N line and boy it blows the other 2 out of the water! Interior and exterior. Some would say new Baleno is nice looking, especially Interior has been improved a lot. But still i20 hands-down the winner. Some would choose Altroz's design, but some people have poor taste. Not their fault.
3. Safety is where the Altroz thrives, i20 needs to improve here. And Baleno is probably the worst given it's weight and Maruti being notorious for its poor build quality.
4. Mailage is Baleno's forte. There's no compilation here. Altroz is decent, but i20 is just the worst.
5. Value for money: Here, Baleno and Altroz give each other a tough competition. Altroz is a solid car but Tata's after sales is a hit and miss. I20 on the other hand, is a bit overpriced.
To sum it up, it's your unique situation that would decide which one's gonna be the best for you.

This is a biased review. Baleno lag in some area but it has some pros too like Engin performance, Smoothness better gearbox and space over Altroz, which the host don't mention.
What do you mean by handling of a car ? As per video Altorz seems to be better choice. What about avarages ? What about service backup? Tata motors is yer to reach level of Mauti service centers.

No mention of driver's blind spot on Altroz, or the turn indicator on fender. No LED headlights or tail lights, small and less responsive screen. And yet you gave same score to both cars on features.

Night driving is an issue with Tata Altroz ..they must improve it and 2nd 6 air bag option should be available and third 360 camera should also be included .

After driving altroz, kiger, i10, i bought baleno zeta cng @10lakhs in diwali 2023 offer. Baleno build quality has improved in 2023 models. Engine and gear box is smooth. No nosie in the cabin. I get 30kmpl mileage in cng mode. After sales service is good in nexa..
Most opinionated video that is apparent from a mile away...no doubt, Tata Altroz is engineered well, but the elephant in the room (NA petrol engine) will be readily apparent especially in a comparison video. Engine is passable for sedate driving and can be overlooked in a dedicated review video...But it is indefensible to overlook the NA engine in a comparison. Can't stand the way the presenter stooped too low to hide few shortcomings in Tata Altroz such as the infotainment unit being smaller and laggy compared to updated Baleno. Love TATA and the value proposition that they bring to the market but like all products, their's are also prone to have some shortcomings and their is nothing wrong in telling that!

Although I am a tata car owner. There is one serious con in altroz that everyone knows but he failed to mention that is the NA 3 cyl engine option. It is unnecessary for this car. That engine best suits tiago but not this one because of some increase in weight. So it struggles to handle this car and lot of owners with that variant are crying with it. Tata should discontinue that option for better.
