This video is wonderful. The steps in the process explained and demonstrated with such simple and professional instruction. Well done. Much appreciated. I am an elderly solo female traveller and look at this video every time i put my awning up and then when i take it down again. Don't know what i would do without it!
Some very good instructions and advice I did not see in other videos. We are new to caravanning but the previous owner of our first, second hand caravan (apparently very experienced) abused the old awning, necessitating a total replacement. Thank you for explaining how we can look after our new one. Much appreciated.
Hi mate, great little video. Thank you. Can you do one on a poptop please, a Coromal if you have access to one. Especially to show us the correct way to raise and lower the poptop with the awning, so its ready to roll out, then roll away? Would be much appeciated. Thanks in advance.
Good video. I have watched several, and you are the first to extend the arm half way then the other full and back to the first one for the remainder of the arm extension. Every other one I have seen goes full extend in one shot. I do what you are doing for the same reasons, to not stress the mechanism or fabric. Also, this is one of the few I have watched that uses an E&E/Dometic for demonstration. Good job.
Thanks for the demo!!! Got my trailer second hand from someone who didn't have a clue how it worked, never used it. How do I get a replacement bottom bracket (mounted to trailer)? 3:08 I got into a really tight spot to back out of and caught it on a high curb. I just need the bottom bracket that bolts to the trailer. Thanks again!
You're welcome! Could you please email us at: reception@sunseekercaravans.com.au and we will try and assist you with your replacement bracket. Thank you.
Hi mate awesome video I have a spaceland scenic caravan when I roll my awning back up it doesn't sit flush in the closed position I have to get up on a ladder and move it over to sit back on both sides to make it flush and lock it seems ikes it may be slightly bent
Probably need to take the screw(s) out of the channel on the sidewall that the fabric is in and allow the fabric to slide in the channel to center up the inner and outer arms. Then reinstall the screws. watch this vid. ruclips.net/video/Pc2ZSx-Y8VQ/видео.html
You can roll up the awning if it's wet, but we would recommend then unrolling it to dry it out - much like a swag or tent. Not ideal to leave anything packed away wet with mold etc. We hope this helps :)

Can you roll up and forget when the material is wet from rain or morning dew?
