  • It seems like some of the fall planted seeds and perennials are taking their time this spring. I keep track of planting and bloom times and some plants were a week to two weeks further along last year at this time. The peonies on the other hand are blooming earlier. I guess Mother Nature knows the perfect timing. I am looking forward to all of the sprouted seeds and transplants to take off! In a few weeks I will plan on a late May tour and I bet there will be many more blooms! Thank you for stopping by!

    hi!! How did you overwinter the dahlias, did you cover them with anything or protect them? also, is your climate wet, do you get a wet winter? thank you!

      Hello! I cover my dahlias with row covers & mulch with leaves. Our winters are a little wet, but not too bad. 😊
