Damn that is something special. I especially loved Sutton’s solo. He deliberately moved some of those traditional bluegrass phrases to the off beat and syncopated the phrasing in such a down homey and yet weirdly funky phrase. Hot.
Before the Punch Brothers were the Punch Brothers I saw Bryan Sutton fill in for Chris Eldridge. He played like he had been with them for years. So professional.
I laid it down because people will never see how good i am as a songwriter out of 45 yrs ive worked ages to be known on youtube with no luck so i laid it down the ole guitar

Can we get an album from this duo, please?! Got that Skaggs & Rice magic!
Everytime those two get together for a performance, magic happens!

He made a straight tune feel crooked
One of the most exciting duels I have seen and heard.
Love this performance ❤👍
good lord that triplet run at 1:29 , have mercy on this weary soul!
Byan's left hand is unfair, and his right hand should be illegal.
Chris how is it physically possible to play such solos 😎👏
I think it’s fair to ask Bryan that too!
Genius meet Genius. Unreal.

Tom Hart I saw that same tour. Amazing.
It is a crime that this show was cancelled
This is how I feel every time United Airlines make me check my guitar
This is so damn cool, I totally like Bryan Sutton, one of the vest. And Chris is just being Chris as usual 😄
Much love from Germany ❤️❤️❤️
Soooooo good
I hate only getting to hit the like button once.
And, there should be hot dam button.
My godddd amazing

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Bryan Sutton = Heir apparent to Mr. Tony Rice. With Chris Thile, it goes on the "ridiculous" shelf.
Bryan- one of Asheville's finest. Just FYI.
He's one of the worlds finest.
Rich just creeping in the back lol
Was this from this past weekend or a rebroadcast I somehow sadly missed?

I took some online lessons from Bryan Sutton a few years back. I didn't get as good as him, but that has more to do with me than him.
Just unreal.
