Oh my God, nobody ever talks about this. Environment is a huge factor in wearing your effing moisturizer and having it actually work…. Aside from the fact that we over 50 lovelies need a bit of chemical exfoliation prior to our moisturizer (IMHO) big hugs crazy Shereene you’re always on the run. Love you to pieces ❤

Dutchie here. I have dry skin, and my go-to daycreme is Rêve de Miel by Nuxe. During summertime however I start with a sprits of thermal water, then Vichy 89 serum and Ole Henriksen peptide boost moisturizer. For SPF I use summer and winter La Roche Posay Anthelios UV Mune 400, a hydrating sunscreen SPF50+. Most of the time The Netherlands are humid, but these last summers tend to be hot hot hot and dry (not Utah-dry, but still). From time to time a spray of thermal water and my 69 year old skin is fine. And yes, love the scent of Nivea.

I haven’t even watched it yet and I’m so excited! This is exactly what I need. I have oily-normal skin depending on conditions, and I just moved from HOT and dry to temperate/cool and humid climate. But it’s summer here and I don’t feel hot until the humidity creeps up on me and I’ve sweat everything off and I don’t know when or how or why😂
Edit: YES I knew it! I was using a lightweight moisturizer, emollient and occlusive interchangeably to fix my Tret problems and I was greasing up and breaking out like crazy.

LOL! I live in Utah. I actually didn't realize how dry it is until I visited Florida last April. I always thought that I had dry skin, but to be honest I am now wondering if I have some oily skin areas and I'm just dried out. I've never had a real skin care routine outside of wash and put on lotion, but I'm very much so looking to start a real catered one. Your videos have definitely been informative and I intend to reference them in the future. Of course I only just learned that I don't get "blackheads," I just have noticeable sebaceous filaments. And I guess that the bumps I get on my cheeks is likely sebaceous hyperplasia. (Maybe? Google says so, but...idk. I'll find out for sure eventually.)

My skin, face and body, both seems to really like Avene trixera nutrifluid balm and Cerve moisturizing cream, and yes La roche posay cicaplast spray is great but I still need to lock it in 😂 La roche posay lipikar balm is great too, the lipikar lait seems to pill at lot sadly. Nature republic green derma mild cica cream is also great, really absorbs well like Avene trixera nutrifluid balm but has a more glowy finish. Smells powdery too nice 😊 Mustela hydra bebe body lotion is great and it smells sooo nice 🎉

Hi! My question led me to your channel, so I hope you can help. I currently use Sunday Riley's A+ serum. It is great but....I am going on vacay to sunny mexico and am wondering if I should stop using the retinol whilst I am away?? I do wear sun screen 50+ La Roche Posey Anthelios everyday. I stay away from the sun, LOL. I have beautiful skin and fear the extra exposure of the two weeks vacay might be too much with my current skincare daily routine. That was a mouthful,:)
I LOVE your channel,BTW and your skin is just WOW xoxo

I find that two good "dupes" for SK-II are Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence and Scinic First Treatment Essence. I also really like the @JordanSamuelSkin hydrate the mist when I travel to a drier climate. He sells a mini version that is great for travel.

Hi Shereen! Thank you for all your valuable information!
What do you think about Clinique 100 h moisture for a combined sensitive skin in a dry climate? I am in Tehran, Iran. Here we also can't find the products easily...I think my type of skin is combined...Thanks!

thank you for this great video- how does sunscreen work with all of this? I typically use EltaMD sunscreen after moisturizer before makeup, but if I were to do the mulit-layer approach you have here, not sure where to put the sunscreen layer-wise. Thank you!

Nivea classic cream is great for dry knuckles the only one that works similarly is loccitane's body moisturizers in my experience
