This was one of the greatest games and is on my top 10 games that I have played. Literally in no other game could you have played as a Russian operator that wasn't clichee, a Russian you could actually sympathize with especially during that legendary encounter between Dima and Blackburn. Just wish that developers would continue to make games in their old mindset instead of the shit they do now.

what happened to battlefield. used to be so real and epic. now its just not good. gameplay is fun but i feel like its an arcade shooter. ever since the BF3 era ended i feel it has lost its competitive edge that made it so good
These guys were just pure fucking badass and they were my favorite levels to play, wished this game campaign was a little longer so we could've on more level with these guys
They only fell for about 46 seconds. After 6 seconds they would have met terminal velocity (32 ft/sec or 9.8m/sec). So they fell somewhere in the ballpark of 1300-1500 feet before pulling their parachutes. That is not a HALO jump. HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) jumps are supposed to be so high that the planes carrying the soldiers are assumed to be commercial flights (30,000-60,000 feet or 9-18 km). I guess they just cut it short so the player wouldn't get bored.
A rough guide is that terminal velocity is achieved in about 10 seconds. A belly-to-earth jumper will take 10s to fall 1000ft and 5s for every 1000ft after that. Therefore +Bob Sleigh was right that they fell about 8000ft. Yes it is much less than would be expected when jumping from an altitude requiring oxygen, but much more than 1500ft.
