You would rather the cables going two separate directions? Instead of the same direction so you can clean them up together? Glad they didn’t call you lol
My Screen wont display what my Komodo is seeing. But I can still control the camera, Through the “Camera control” on the monitor I followed all steps and factory rested everything. Idk what else to do, can you help?
hello friend. What did you use for the yellow 'locking camera control cable' that connects the smallHD monitor to the RED? If you are curious about the purchase link or the exact name. And I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me how to connect the power to the monitor, friend.
@@twelvetwelve1001 My BMPCC 6K, but I’ve got to put it up for sale soon to help offset the cost of the Komodo. My wife said that was a non-negotiable. So, sell that, get my Komodo or have her kill me where I stood for ordering a $6000 camera seemed like a fair trade-off. Lol!
@Manitou Taeis Heauton. I know people say they’re close, but to me, they’re not that close. I see a big difference in their dynamic range and color science. The form factor, huge difference. I hate the BMPCC’s form factor and it’s plastic-y body. User experience is not so great either. I do a lot of handheld and often use three points of contact with the back of the camera against my chest or stomach. A couple of times I have accidentally changed something with the camera pressed against me, like my frame rate. Annoying.
Just got the focus version with red control and like you had mentioned way more responsive. Like you I love a top handle for lower shots and overall the controls make life way easier. Solid unboxing!
I ordered mine awhile back, but unfortunately I'm at the back of the line. Won't get delivered until Mid April :(. I'll b e using mine on a BMPCC 6K, hoping they consider adding camera control for Blackmagic too.
Hi I have small question? What is the correct place to put the other end of the controller cable in the komodo , because I can’t placed. Or should I get extra parts??
@@twelvetwelve1001 Can I get your email? Please so I will send you the picture for the cable an if you can send me apiculture for your cable in Raiedqamar@gmail.com

I have the same monitor but I still don{t know where to connected to the camera.
Back again. It's a pretty dope rig. I'm going to copy you a bit. You know... whenever my Komodo finally shows up. Sigh.

You can order different battery plates. I have the v mount plate on mine. But, normally power it via lemo adapter.
