I recommend reading the patch notes in the Dandy's World Discord server.
A beginners guide to Dandy's World that includes many topics. I do not cover any progression related topics (Ichor & Research). Keep watch for the future distracting/chase guide.

SOME THINGS THAT I FORGOT/MISTAKES:
- The star total in a Toon's stats are 15 not 18, I cannot count.
- A common abbreviation for machines are macs/mac.
- Another term for extractors are macrushers (machine rushers).
- Some other terms for distractors are kiters/chasers/loopers.
- Missing a skillcheck temporarily pauses progress.
- I missed one of the color boost buffs: Orange which increases the skillcheck window.
UNMENTIONED WAYS TO GET TAPES:
- Surviving a floor grants 10 tapes
- Using a Toon's activate ability grants 5 tapes
- About tapes from machines, you gain 1 tape per 10% of progress you completed
- Using different rarities of items gives different amounts of tape

@@MilkChocoCooki3My advice: RUN! Being mobile can help you escape a grab. If that doesn't work, hide behind cover so he looses interest.
Some things that people need to be cautious about:
(Speaking from experience as an extractor)
1. Blackout event can appear as early as in Floor 3 (and as late as in Floor 13+)
2. Twisted Dandy can spawn as early as in Floor 6 - He can spawn as late as in Floor 13-15
3. Twisteds can appear near the elevator. (There are exceptions for certain maps)
4. Always keep your eyes peeled on long-ranged & dangerous Twisteds like Scraps, Goob, Pebble & Dandy. ESPECIALLY during blackouts.
Another thing to be cautious about is the devs, they like children 😢

also i remember once a vee spawned almost right infrong of the elevator and damaged 3 of my teammates 😭

The mspaint drawings made me laugh in a positive way LOL I was having a bad day and the drawings for the items made me feel better
I really didn't expect to watch a video on Dandy's world but the info is pretty good and the tips on looping and avoiding pebble are pretty important too, Great video on how to play and succeed in the game
0:45 One more thing about missing a skill check. While it alerts nearby Twisteds, it also temporarily stops extraction progress.

That doesnt matter that much cause if you miss most of the times you need to get off and stop extracting anyways

@@Dabloogie Besides there are a few people that keep extracting while they missed, more so when there is no Twisted around
Some tips I can get playing either solo or multiplayer
1. those who don't play Distractor Or solo player and it doesn't matter how you use chocolate or proteins to restore your stamina after getting out of a chase because you don't know when you're going to get into another chase again.
2. Save stamina for when you are in chases but you don't spend much to move around the map
3. Do not bring the twisteds to a machine or someone making the machine
4. If you can help someone who has low stamina and is in pursuit and you are able to help and catch the chase and leave calmly, go close to him and change Twisted's agro For you
Note: only works well for characters with low steath or the same amount of steath
5. Getting the skillcheck wrong helps a little to gain information on who the twisteds on the floor are and also to change the direction of making them move away from your area and to guarantee a little security
Obs: Confirm that you won't be seen and manage to hide in time
6. Knowing the map is very important to know how and the location, being aware of the best loops and safe areas and dangerous areas and dangerous loops
7. Avoid Rodgers and Twisted razzle and dazzle if you are playing with people in public because you don't know if there will be someone who doesn't know how Twisted's mechanics work or someone who can Even trolling you trying to kill you or take damage
8. If you see that someone is looping a Twisted, don't enter or don't get in the way because it can harm you and the other player only if you know what you are doing
9. If a distractor is looping the twisteds, don't enter the chase or get in the way because he's doing his job
10. Use items that accelerate the extraction speed on machines that are in a dangerous position, allowing you to be spotted by a Twisted or suffer a hit
11. Don't fight or talk bad to beginners because they don't know how to play or don't know all the mechanics and better, you help by answering questions and giving tips
12. If you are a beginner and don't have items or builds and are playing on public server with a beginner with the intention of starting a dandy run, I don't recommend it because, as in the video, it says, one hit and you die.
13. Prioritize buying thinkets over toons to make your runs easier
14. Buy Rodger because it will help a lot to accelerate your progression
15. If a machine appears near the elevator, do it and leave it almost complete at around 99% because you will know where the last one is and it will still be almost complete and close to your elevator and you Don't worry about getting to the elevator on time
16. And keep the eject button or the yellow candy in case of emergencies to escape a quick Twisted or because your stamina is running low Or why are you sure that this loop won't work if you keep looping and you can't get out of the chase
Exemple: pebble, toddles
17. Avoid missing the skillcheck on machines with no exits and closed or open places with little space to avoid twisteds or hide or loops because you can receive damage
Exemple: You miss skillcheck on a machine in an open place where there is a goob or scraps to give you damage from a distance or you are in a closed place where the only point to exit is through the entrance Then any Twisted gets in there and you'll have to find a way to avoid it.
18. When a blackout happens, the skill check of the machines is wrong so the twisteds come to one area and you go to another area avoiding encounters with them or chases
And I think these are all the tips I can offer you my experiences and I hope I helped someone even using a Google translator

22:30, the truest words I’ve heard, one time I got GUMBALLS while the other player got EJECT. But another time when I used it I got medkit. So you’re basically right
I don't know if this is already obvious but:
1. Twisteds' movement is dependent on the abundance of machines within a room. If a room has many machines, Twisteds will check if somebody's there.

Stop playing. The co-creator of the game, RoxSerpent, is a groomer! If you absolutely want to play, do not buy anything ingame, play with Premium, or monetarily support this game.
What I find the most challenging is when you have goob or scraps on a blackout floor since they can snipe you from the darkness. If I find this to be the case I would definitely let my teammates know.

For a really really bad game. Well not the game, rather its dev team. The co-creator, RoxSerpent, groomed a minor. Sorry to break it to ya, but playing Dandy's World means supporting a pedo.
i know I'm late but one time when I was on a dandy run, he spawned in the 7th floor and I was suprised. Alot of people died tho, btw good video I'm new to dandys world and this helped me alot :)

Magnifying Glass is better than Blue Bandana tho, even for Toons with a high Skill Check stat. i tested it out myself within a couple Solo Runs i did with Vee, and i realized about 66% of the machines i did, Magnifying Glass made it faster than the Bandana, all you need its a bit of luck to get atleast 2 skill checks. making Magnifying Glass slightly better than Blue Bandana. so if you wanna make a balanced Speed/Extraction build, make sure to always pick Magnifying Glass over the Bandana :3

Pebble twisted is actually same speed as boxten except he has more atk range and line of sight range, making him seem faster

if you liked dandy's world i would suggest playing minus elevation. it's less team oriented, but still multiplayer.

When going into a match at the bottom of the teleporting screen there are tips or facts that are actually useful! For example I read one and it said “on odd numbered floors dandy’s shop will be there and on even numbered floors the choozing cards will be there” the facts are fun too! For example “ did you know Dnady’s full name is Dandicus [ forgot lats name :( ] don’t tell him!”
3:16 since I forgot to look at the leaderboard I thought he did 3 machines and still had vee’s remote active
For my questions. 1 What is the best toon to buy as a beginner?(save for) 2. Whats the best trinkets to wear to be fast?
i recommend rodger as he speeds up progression by a considerable amount, and has good extraction speeds allowing you to do more machines which results in more ichor.
the best trinket combo for running speed are Speedy Shoes + Pink Bow (12.5% Run & 5% Walk), and the best for walking speed are Speedy Shoes + Dog Plush (5% Walk & 15% Run).
Sadly now after the update theres ailments like vee's slow effect and if paired with pebbles, you can't distract both of them, even as pebbles with maxed speed using trinkets and boosts (found that out the hard way)

This game is basically like minus elevations if the skill requirement wasn’t as high and not too complicated with loadouts, items, entities, and all that sort of stuff. Just mostly straight-forward gameplay.
If I got Astro on floor 5 is that rare? Also this was amazing!! I already know how to play but wanted to see if they’re a thing I don’t know
from floors 5-9 each twisted that spawns has a 3.6% chance to be a main; astro, vee or pebbles. so ye its relatively rare
I hate that I was running from pebble pretty well once and it was the dawg in toodles that got me

You forgot the 5th color boost orange. It increases the window of skill check which is pointless but helps out a bit if you're playing a toon with less than 3 stars on skill check.

Did you know Dandys world is heavily inspired by minus elevation (a roblox game) cause in minus elevation when you get 100% info on a creature you get a plushie and each enemy is special also those skill checks are basically generators from a game but it aint roblox thats all i have to say today (who ever is reading this i heavily recommend you play minus elevation :D)

does the chance of rarer twisteds or main twisteds spawning go up the more players there are in a game? cause I was playing solo to floor 18 and only astro spawned at like floor 12 but when I play with other people I get twisted vee and twisted astro on like floor 8 and 10
it increases by 4% every 5 floors. since it says the game gets harder the more people there are, I believe the chances of main twisteds spawning IS increased. ^^
this is probably due to the fact that more twisteds spawn with more players, so theres more of a chance of you seeing a main
