Getting started with Dandy's World || A Beginners Guide

- Welcome to Dandy's World! Dandy's World is a cartoony horror game made by Blush Crunch Studio and released on June 14th, where you play as a toon character trying to escape the twisted versions of your friends.
This video serves to be a simple beginners guide for players who are new and/or feel to be a bit behind wanting to improve!
As stated in the disclaimer, this is also just based on my own experience with the game so far and may not work for everybody. Feel free to share your own tips in the comments!

Cough recommendation for toons to work towards vvv
Brightney and Goob
Beyond her low stealth Brightney has very good stats and it’s not much of a trade off if you’re good at looping :] plus help in blackouts is always super useful. The moment I started using her the game got. Significantly easier to learn.
Goob with running shoes and the dog plush can out-walk anything except maybe twisted pebble? But beyond that the grabbing ability is extremely useful for keeping your teammates safe :D hilariously expensive since you have to buy scraps and master atleast 3 of her mastery quests though

@@user-ek7fv6if9c oh yup ive played scraps! you do have to play her to get to goob - she's not got bad stats at all but i'd reccomend trinkets to up her speed!!
very good ability too it saved my life several times on the road to mastery

tip: when twisted toodle is on a floor just always watch ur feet cause u might accidentally lose a heart by bumping into toodle

I can use a lot of help with my journey to getting Astro! I bet we’re gonna start calling RUclipsrs who play Dandy’s world or make content of it “DandyTubers”!
Fun fact: this is most likely insipred by minus elevation I think that’s what it was called.
I saw somewhere that quewver(i think thats her name?) never heard of minus elevation(me neither lol) so maybe rox played it?

Minus elevation, minus descendance and addition abstraction are all amazing games, people who like this one should give them a go!

SOME advice bc ive been playing this game nonstop :] Okay so,, when you're a beginner its best to try to find lobbies w a goob or a razzle/dazzle fella in it, chances are they prefer the more aggro setup (r/d 10% boost with even floors) and those tend to get to 10 and up if you're lucky !! Have fun tooning ^_^ [p.s. this is written by a goob main so hope 2 see yall soon !!]

Using these tips I got to floor 12 for the first time, tysm for the advice! I even bought my second toon on that run (razzle dazzle). For tip 8 on razzle dazzle, I would bring your best speed and best extraction trinket so you can do good as both of them.

I'm about to join the fandom 🥰 (I have already been playing the game since last night it's really fun)
im gonna be honest, im the type of guy to pick characters based on their looks, and I WANT RODGER SO BAD. The problem is i literally started 2 hours ago, and cant get past floor 2.
Update: I just got to floor 4 and realized how easy this game actually was, but then there was a GOD DAMN MACHINE INSIDE OF FRAZZLEDAZZLE'S RANGE, GOOOODDDDD WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Another update: I know I’m not gonna be able to stop myself so I’m gonna write all my progress here. How it’s going right now? I figured out how to avoid razzledazzle, i got Rodger and plan on using him until I get Astro to grind his research, and I made it past floor 10 and got to the warehouse area (right before I died to razzle dazzle again, but this was before I learned to walk to avoid him.)
GOOD NEWS. it’s been like 2 weeks since I last updated here, but I encountered twisted Astro for the first time and I am ECSTATIC. Also I figured out you need to encounter twisted dandy to get Astro, so I’m gonna do a dandy run next time I’m in the grinding mood
razzle&dazzle's thing is that you just dont run inside of the circle around them! as long as you and the people you're playing with just walk, it's all good
@@FUTUREST4RTER oh you can walk through his circle as long as he’s not awake? Sick. Also I got Rodger but by the time I did I decided I wanted Astro, and only got Rodger to get the research done for Astro.

What do all the twisted do and what are trinkets? I really need to find them
trinkets are little items that add to your characters stats, right now you can get them through the shop and through maxing research on the twisteds :] im gonna make a video on all the twisteds!
Alright soo I’ll tell you some info, twisted poppy and boxten work the same, no abilities, toodles is fast though she’ll just leave after a bit, twisted vee spawns adds of your screen you’ll have to close (click or tap the x), twisted pebbles is VERY BERRY FAST, hide at all cost from it, twisted dandy is very rare, though, if your not buying anything from the dandy shop, it increases the spawn chance, you can tell dandy may come with dandy’s face, dandy is insta-kill, no matter how much hp you have, dandy plays music when near by.
Personally, I think if you just started your goals should be getting Roger and then getting the dog plush and then just choosing whatever toon you want to get and just start getting it
Which character should i buy as a begginer?
I chose Poppy at beggining and bought Boxten what do I buy next???
Update: I bought Toodles and Rodger but I still wanna know what to buy next

There are Two Other Main Toons, Shelly and Sprout!

This tutorial helped me alot cuz i can never outrun the twisteds but which toon should you save up for cuz rn im saving up for R&D cuz they dont need any requirements

i cant really speak to which toon you should specifically go for because everybody plays a little different but razzle dazzle is a good one! :] im glad this helped you a little bit

I had rly bad options for cards so i choosed blindbox and got medkit 😭 its a good item but i wasnt expecting that
I played this game the other day for the first time and hopped in not knowing anything 💀 I died on the second floor and was just spectating someone else for the rest of the time
Another Beginners Guide: This Game is Heavily Inspired By Minus Elevation But They Do Not Credit It
Which character you recommend to buy first?
toodles or rodger are good ones to start out with, toodles is pretty basic but fast and rodger has high extraction and gives you double research on cpasules and encounters! (you normally get 5% research the first time a twisted sees you on a floor, and rodger doubles that)
all the other ones are pretty expensive & have requirements so they'll take a while of playing
different toons suit different people, so good luck finding your favorite!
@@FUTUREST4RTER you can also get research from capsules and rodger also doubles that. (I discovered that if you get 1% from a capsule that adds actually 2% to the twisteds) and with rodger you basically can get 4%, which is insane.

@FUTUREST4RTER Thanks for the advice, I've been really enjoying rodger for his repair speed and research. The only problem is that he's quite slow, making chases much harder to escape. Still games been fun.

How do I get ichor fast?
You can farm ichor by doing solos and going as fast as you can even if you are afraid, do this untill you die and you’ll get a lot of ithor

I knew about all of this, but i think this video wasn't made just for me. Also i escaped from twisted pebble once with rodger but with only 1 heart left. And i died 2 times bc of him. I know all of this from expierence bc once i got to floor 24. Plus i'm a very fast learner so i mastered this game. This game is very good and fun. I'm sure more toons and twisteds will be added like that mirror character and the one who have a cinnamon head. (You can see these characters on posters)
