i absolutely love that there are no room/loading transitions so the previous room layouts have a chance of emergently affecting future/connected rooms instead of completely firewalling everything so nothing matters as much, wish more roguelikes added this bit of inter-connection without having to full-on attempt the ever-elusive rogue-vania bait genre which usually doesn't end well hahahaha

This looks great ! And I am glad they decided to add more synergies and combos, which did not really exists in Dead Cells iirc (and made it a bit disappointing to me compared to others of the genre like Isaac, Hades or Gungeon)

No idea if it'll come to the current Switch, early access starts at the end of the month and the Steam page says it will be there for at least a year so we got a long time. A free demo is coming out in just 10 days or so for everyone to try.

Looks like motion twin is showing hades how it's done. I'm sorry but dead cells makes hades look shallow by comparison

I literally beat my 2nd attempt on dead cells just by getting a stupid brainless build going where you drop an overpowered turret and walk away.
thats not to say "the game has nothing to offer", but i think both games have their strong and weak points tbh.

@theSato I also beat dead cells my second attempt, but I still haven't beaten it a second time, it's quite a difficulty jump after the first win. If you haven't gone back to the game after winning once, you really should.

Yeah i did’t give hades a chance because if the 3D gameplay i love 2D games like dead cells. Unfortunately windblown is same as hades u will be torture yourself if u think to play with keyboard and mouse, amd i hate playing with controller..i just wish they would have made dead cells 2 instead of this windblown game which looks like a 7 years ild kids’ game
