    Great stuff .. it’s certainly good to have a few handy for various hedges .. I’ve got a 56 if I remember and that is brilliant for small shaped Laurel hedges .. I also have some traditional shears for around metal fencing to save the blades …👍.. other makes available also 😮

      All makes have the options I'm sure, whatever you're into as long as it does the job👍👍 nice for the small fiddly jobs. Cheers

    Great piece of kit. Likewise, I use my HLA 66 more, but bought the HSA100 to replace my HS81R (still got it for brutal hedge cutting)

    I ended up taking the tip guard off mine as it did keep getting caught on stuff. Like the sealed gearbox and the fact it’s even quieter than the 86. Single speed is a bit of a strange one, like you say.

    Good video buddy!!!
    Was tempted to get one theses as already have a few Hla135 and 86 I do use on box hedging etc, just wondered it really worth the step up from the 86 🤔

    • @LewisgardenservicesLtd
      @LewisgardenservicesLtd  2 месяца назад

      It's a nice trimmer to use, maybe upgrade when needed. I haven't really pushed it yet as keeping for best🤣👍

    • @ParkersGardens
      @ParkersGardens Месяц назад

      It is better than the 86 but not really worth upgrading to it if the 86 is still running. Blade speed is the same for example, so whilst is is a bit nicer to use it's not really worth having in addition to the 86. Maybe when the 86 goes and it's time to replace it then get the 100. That would be our advice.

    What are your thoughts on the build quality? I'm not a huge fan of the flimsy plastic housing. Maybe it's stronger than it looks, though?

    • @LewisgardenservicesLtd
      @LewisgardenservicesLtd  Месяц назад +1

      It's pretty sturdy, plastic casing I'd say is similar to petrol machines and this has a metal gear case and grease port where the hla 66 and 86 I use have plastic ones that definitely don't last. Time will tell I guess 🤞 cheers,👍

    • @MHumanoid
      @MHumanoid Месяц назад +1

      @@LewisgardenservicesLtd Right on, I did see mentions of them using the same housing for their petrol machines, so maybe it's sturdy enough! I do like the Stihl battery machines, the AP machines perform pretty well.
