I think out of all the battery equipment hedge trimmers are certainly the best. Great performance and run time. Recently purchased the HSA 100 and HLA 66. Very happy

    Hey there,
I'm using the HSA 94R, is there a difference in the motor/gearbox to the HSA 135R?
And I have to say, the HSA 94R is the best hedge trimmer i ever used!!
I tryd at the last days another hedge trimmer from a nother company wit 4000 strokes a min.
I hoped it would be faster working, but it doesn't!!
Th 94R is quicker, because it never stops or jumps around( others moving sometimes a bit, if the hedge is geting thicker) an it's very smooth, others give you mor vibration back.
    Thanks for your good Videos

Hello! Thank you for your question and your feedback about STIHL hedge trimmers. There is no HSA 135 R. We have the HSA 130 R which has the same gearbox than the HSA 94 R. We wish you lots of fun working with STIHL products.

Hello there.. thanks for the effort you have put in to make this video so informative and Ellaborate the finess in detail of each model explained here.. iam looking at a battery operated equipment to cut about 20mm thick of grass that I shall use to feed my cattle.. I come from India and the only option of battery operated hedge trimmer I have here in India is HSA 50.. could you pls suggest if this model is suitable for cutting grass to feed the cattle.. the cuts should be fine because the the grass shoots from the buds that are cut and regrows itself, but the cut has to be clean only then the grass would re grow.. or else the grads would die away.. awaiting your expert advice.. thank u so much in advance..

We use Stihl battery trimmers and quite like them.
With all the Stihl battery gear, we have experienced many disruptive 'machine fault' red lights on the batteries.
Our dealer has suggested a couple of things...
1/ when it happens, you need to take some cover off and clean the electrical solanoid thingy, which is has only occasionally fixed the problem and is pretty disruptive
2/ they noticed we do not transport our machinery with blade covers on, and have said that any dirt which gets caught in the blades while driving will cause the red lights. I dont really believe this to be the cause of the problem, we encounter more dirt inside hedges occasionally. For the last 12 months we have transported gear with blade covers attached and we still encounter the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas for what to do here?
