My cat, for some reason, loves plastic. We have to really watch him. We caught him getting a plastic six-pack Coke bottle holder out of the trash can! So now we cut those up so he doesn't recognize it & have to keep anything plastic, even plastic bags, away from him. So sorry Logan added that sort of "character" to your Bible. I never knew what that was called on a Bible. When I saw the notification, my country mind went to "mouth"!! Lol! My mama used to say how people needed to watch their yaps! Oh, Sister Cat, I hope that at least made you smile! Much love & blessings!
Awe your amazing sis it really did thank you 😘 and to be honest it wasn't Logan fault as much as it was mine. I shouldn't have left it out on the desk overnight. But...but I really didn't think nothing would happen to it. Because none of them chew on anything or get into things especially when it comes to things on my desk. They all know momma will get loud then 😂😁 but...but Desari definitely likes to eat plastic bags from the store so we have to make sure all of those are put up. But your right it literally adds character to my Bible I really hope goatskin doesn't start peeling over time
One of my kitty’s was sitting in the window above my nightstand. Something frightened her & she freaked out & fell to the nightstand & grabbed on to my Bible to keep from falling all the way to the floor. She did & so did my stack of Bibles. Charlotte (my kitty is OK), but one of my goatskin Bibles has a gash on the front of it!! You can only see it if you are looking for it, but I see it. I’m glad it wasn’t one of my newer Schuylers. When we have pets, (and love them!!) that’s a price we pay sometimes! You are right Cat, it shows character!
I'm so excited for you sis. I can't wait to see your new Bible. As for Mr. Logan it wasn't really his fault as much as mine. I shouldn't have left it out all night. Ohhhh I've seen a few Bibles killed by dogs/puppies and few time. They go for the whole thing😉🤣 normal my babies don't chew or get into anything. It literally my fault for leaving it out on my desk over night
I woke up I thought he was acting funny... he already knew what he did was wrong. But because he's sooooo cute momma falls for charm and I'm the sucker for it😂🤣 I can't believe that happened lived I literally wanted to cry but I knew it was my fault in the first place. Big...Huge...lesson learned here 😉 thank you so much for watching this means a lot coming from you🤩
At least the bite marks are evenly punctured all the way along. You can pretend it was intentional! I can't say I like this yapp look much preferring the natural soft formation of regular handling. Yapps aren't supposed to be flat to the page edge but obvioulsy some like it.
Scrapbook supplier would be my dream job for sure that would be soooo cool. But I work in customer service an outdoor building. Soooo it's kinda like a drive thur cars/trucks pull in give them their orders and I load up their vehicles.
Yes but...but it also depends on the type of leather So once you unwrap it it will stay warm for a couple hours but if it starts to loosen up it may need a little longer but I have another video sharing the technique where you can just train your yapp with only your fingers
I am so sorry Logan tore up the leather on your new Bible. I would be sick to my stomach. My nicest Bibles are in a place my cats never visit... high up and far away. Maybe the reason why Logan chewed into the Saran Wrap, is what is in the Saran Wrap. Not sure. But I have to keep ziplock bags far away from my cat, Gracie. The vet’s office told me that the reason cats tend to want to eat Ziploc bags, is because they are made with fish oil in them. She likes to eat paper too, so that is an issue as well. Once again, so very sorry about your Bible.
One last message, sorry so many. If you rub the bite & nail marks with your fingers a lot, the spots will be much less noticeable. That’s what I have done with the gash my kitty did to one of mine. (my other message) The damage to mine happened 2 months ago & it is looking better by doing that.
My 19 lb longhair "needed" so badly to get into a box of breakables that he chipped a piece off a beautiful red glass vase. The silk flowers I put in it does hide the chip, and yes, I was heartbroken, at the time. There were a pair of them, and one is in perfect condition, and one was chipped by our beautiful cat, who is no longer with us. I beg to keep it in spite of the flaw, and remember Calvin (our cat) from his "box fanaticism" to remember him by his good days when he was well enough to climb into a box. He died from the effects of diabetes 3 years later.
too much work. id rather just take care of my bibles and buy a snug laptop carry case for travel, currently i just use the box that comes with it and I'm very careful. thanks bless god.
I keep all of my Bibles in there boxs this technique is not to store the Bibles but instead to form the yapp. It looks way better when it's trained and not just standing up. Again this is ONLY FOR THE BIBLES WITH A YAPP. Most Bibles theses days don't have them. You literally have to buy them with a yapp on them. 👍
it adds character and an opportunity to have a conversation about your bible, and memories of your cat for a lifetime.

My puppy shows a lot of interest in my Bibles that have any leather in their binding. I'm always afraid he will chew one up.

Yes but...but it also depends on the type of leather So once you unwrap it it will stay warm for a couple hours but if it starts to loosen up it may need a little longer but I have another video sharing the technique where you can just train your yapp with only your fingers
