If you're short of cash there's always the option of "Carter USM The Final Comedown 2, last time was just final, this time it's REALLY final, next time will be EVEN FINALER"
I was 31 when I saw Carter at Glasto '92, I'm 62 now. It was the best gig I was ever at. Saw them loadsa times after that, and had my photo taken with Jim at the bar after Brixton in 2008. Great memories. Master of the pun and a top lyricist. Nice one Jim. ✌️❤️😊
Fantastic. Thanks Jim! Buzzing from watching this. I was 10 at the time of the original headline set. I got into Carter a few years later and I was listening to a bootleg of the Reading 1992 set ? on my walkman in my German class. My German teacher told me off and asked me who I was listening to. I told him. Carter USM. He said. I’d grow out of liking them. 30 years later and I’m still a fan. Maybe I haven't finished growing yet.
Late to the party due to work. That was 1,000,000 times better than anything we've seen on Glastonbury at the BBC. Loved your set at The Cluny last November, Jim Bob - please come back soon! 😘
My first ever concert in 1992, at University of Michigan in 1992. Had never heard of Carter, was there for EMF. 31 years later I couldn’t tell you the last year I played Schubert Dip, but 30 Something and 101 Damnations are in my regular rotation. New album just ordered.
Was at Glastonbury for this. Had just finished my A Levels, first time at Glastonbury, furthest I'd ever driven after passing my driving test from Anglesey. I'm 50 next year. Those were the best times of my life. Thank you Carter USM 👍
I was there too. Right down the front. One of the best nights of my life. This music always makes me feel like I felt on that night - like anything is possible.
me too & one memorable occasion was some festival in belgium where it was pissin down & they weren't allowed to play for safety reasons so they give us a choice of venues on their uk tour & we went up to cambridge to watch them @corn Xchange - bloody brilliant times when I had dredz (now 65yrs old + still a fan)
Want that shirt. Love this performance so much. Had the joyous luck of talking to Jim Bob and Marc at the Wonderstuff gig a few years back. One of the best nights ever, apart from the Final Comedown.
Watching in my new red 30 Something T….. still, the big festival decision in ‘92 was….smashing pumpkins, Mega C4 and Mudhoney @ reading or …… Jim Bob ‘n Fruit Bat at Glastonbury (not Glasto). So, the Bolton crew headed down south to……. Somerset!! Great set Jim, really appreciated 👍👍
its always p'$$d me off that i've never been able to find the full glasto set Live ..i've only ever been left with While You Were Out from What Do You Think... Thanks Jim for this much appreciated. My first ever gig was Bournemouth BIC 1992.. 14 years old 😁 You Fat Bastard
Grew up with your south london lyrics. From 101 damnations to your latest album..concerts.. brixton academy and the retirement gigs. Wonderful memories. Still on my playlist and will never age. 👍
Loved this , absolute Legend !!! Though I can't believe with such careful planning and forethought for ' a man alone in his home ' that you didn't recreate the hairstyle for us 😁 peace & love ✌️
Thanks for this Jim, and might I say what a lovely idea this was. More people should do stuff like this. I wonder if Axl Rose will do a similar thing with the set he plays at Glastonbury this weekend? Just him and Slash, over a cup of tea :-). The Fruity picture was a nice touch. You should have had him over as a specail guest. You would have broken the internet!
The real JimBob? I saw u in Hamburg long time ago I think late 90 ´s. I love u:) Your Songs so great, so much energy. Sry for bad english I´m from germany.
Brilliant Jim, when you released 101, it threw a curved ball at my eclectic musical likes. Unfortunately I missed 92, as I was having a ball in Australia. Good to hear all the great old classics. Keep it up x
See you on Thursday 19th, I've been looking forward to this for a long time, never got to see you back in the day, guess I thought I'd missed the chance, I'll be the mad bastard in the bright red tabard. Have to correct your lyrics though, it's "the good the bad and the Irish" much love!
Hi Jimmy Bob 👋 Junior from mucky pup.I been playing my acoustic git and singing along with this .Makes me very happy good sir/ol friend. It’s funny too ! ❤️you JB.
Watching on my bus ride home from Sydney to Avalon Beach! Made commute home awesome. Can’t wait for the new record to arrive here in Oz in me mail box. From watching you guys at a Rock City Nottingham to your solo set before PWEI here in Sydney, always amazing. Come back down under soon please.
Thanks for doing this❤. I also wrote you fan letters in high-school and you wrote me back which helped me not do self damage. 47 now and happy. CARTER USM ladies and gentlemen.
Thank you, Jim❤ So glad that I’ve just found this video😄 I was at Phoenix Festival ‘94 from Japan of all places just to see you on stage all those years ago. This is brilliant. I love you❤❤
Jim Bob ... gutted that set never got an encore because of the festival's time constraints. Always wondered what the encore would have been, given that Sheriff Fatman, Do Re Mi and Bloodsports For All had already been played ... do you remember what other songs we didn't get to enjoy that night???
@@jimbobcarter Oh yes! Do Re Me wasn't in the main set. I got confused with After the Watershed. Anyway, it was an incredible show and I loved every second of it.
Only saw you live once - in Glasgow Back in Bed. Took the plane from Germany with my oldest friend for this awesome experience. Bought your latest work a couple of minutes ago. Love you!
If you're short of cash there's always the option of "Carter USM The Final Comedown 2, last time was just final, this time it's REALLY final, next time will be EVEN FINALER"
I'd pay double because they've done it twice. Seems fair, considering the need for footwear?
Still the greatest Kick-Ass rock and roll band in the world. Thanks Jim ❤
Almost drunk enough to instigate some crowd surfing across the living room... someone give us a leg up...
It was like being there again - i even pissed in a bottle and threw it in the neighbour's garden, for old time sake
😂😂
Just got in so I've missed half an hour - I'll pretend i was stuck in a queue walking from another stage...
Glastonbury 92 was my first Carter gig and my best gig ever too. It was just amazing start to finish.
This is magnificent! The soundtrack to my late teens. Jim Bob will always be the king of the Crusties in my eyes.
30 something, one of my favourite albums of all time.
What a treat.. fucking loved Carter from 90-95 during those teenage years
I am loving my first time at Glastonbury
Wow ! Memories of getting drunk listening to Carter with my 1990’s besties. Sending you love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Excellent job, Jim Bob! Loving the lights. I can't think of a better way to spend my Friday night.
Who'd have thought back then that shouting "You Fat Bastard" would get you in so much trouble 31 years later? It's a different world today.
All this and now T.I.S.M. are even gigging again! Love from Melbourne, Australia.
I can’t wait for the recreation of the Phoenix festival set tomorrow night….
Fantastic. Thanks Jim! Buzzing from watching this.

Absolutely fucking amazing. Well done Jim Bob. Second watch now.
The wife wants to throw some virtual knickers on stage
The man's still got it❤
Looking forward to Michael Eavis's cameo
Only saw Carter USM once at Brixton Academy At Christmas time 92. I was 16 my first ever gig Brixton but not my last.
Far better than standing in a field full of people holding really strange large flag poles
Late to the party due to work. That was 1,000,000 times better than anything we've seen on Glastonbury at the BBC. Loved your set at The Cluny last November, Jim Bob - please come back soon! 😘
A bit difficult crowdsurfing all by myself 🏄♂️

Bloody amazing!! Shoppers Paradise is such a good song. Any chance of sneaking in Say it with flowers as an encore?!
You are the soundtrack to my teens. I love you without condition. I love you JimBob x

A likable charming man going into old age doing what he does. I admire and envy this, in an an inspirational way. Kind regards to you :)
One man and his guitar. What a show. Fantastic.
Didn't realise you had this channel.
So glad I found it and daft as it sounds it is like finding an old friend.
You still have it 🙂
I've just found it too. Result!👍
Loving this. Cheers, Jim!
King of my teenage years. ♥️
please please reform and tour
I saw them play live a whole load of times the greatest singer songwriter of his generation. Or so Jim Bob used to say 🤣
He was being modest…. Not just ‘of his generation’.

Great to hear all the classics
Wonderful!

Loving this, watching in the garden in the sun! 😎🍸
Fantastic, love the tennis balls at the end😂
I will get your new album on vinyl
Thank you very much.
Been a fan since my teens back in ‘90s! Loved this, tears to my eyes. God Bless! xx

I've been in the queue at the bar for the past hour.
Grew up with your south london lyrics. From 101 damnations to your latest album..concerts.. brixton academy and the retirement gigs. Wonderful memories. Still on my playlist and will never age. 👍
Is Jim ‘The Churnups’ ? I’m wishing it was 92 again.
This was fantastic!
Given the option would you reform Carter to headline Glastonbury in 2024?
Loved this , absolute Legend !!! Though I can't believe with such careful planning and forethought for ' a man alone in his home ' that you didn't recreate the hairstyle for us 😁 peace & love ✌️
Sir Jim Bob 😎

Excellent performance Jim. Loving those retro/vintage/mid century CD towers with real CD's. Talk about 31 years ago
