Nice I would’ve elevated your paint booth on some bricks or chair or something... those are some heavy light coats buddy😂😂 jk I really like this I’m thinking about doing it to my Glock,, Did you have a finish video
Rite! 1st coat should b so light that it doesnt fully cover existing color (literally maybe 1 quick pass with the spray from about 15-20 inches away) it should leave the surface feeling rough and looking "dusty", but it will dry so fast that it wont hurt any impatient feelings. 2nd coat should use same process but with 2 or 3 passes with the spray, from same distance.
The last Minuteman Iknow this was a year ago,but many people do this as long as you use non chlorinated brake cleaner no issues.I was shocked the first time I saw someone do it then I talked to a cerakoter who does the same thing.I have since used the crc in the green can on my LCP I did follow up with rubbing alcohol worked great.

I just don’t get it. Why would you F up a perfectly good Glock or pistol with epoxy paint? Just makes no sense. I understand modifications for performance reasons but leave good enough alone.
Where’s the “after”. How do i know if it worked out if I can’t see the final product 💁🏻♂️
Did I miss the part where he shows the final, finished product?
Paint looks Great bro...l will definitely have to look into doing that on some of my Glocks.
+Gerald Weldin thanks man!for my first try I am definitely impressed! I will likely end up with a air brush style set up in the future!
It bubbled because you applied too much at once. Little by little. Patience is King. I'm a car painter. And painter of everything else
I would have took 3 coats to get as thick as this went on his first
He unironically used “zombie killer” green
Looks good man. 👍🇱🇷
Anybody else notice how he missed the finger grooves on almost every coat
I'd go with the brake cleaner myself - it DOES work well - IF I needed a post cleaning I'd use either 90%isopropyl or denatured alcohol...
Dope freaking Glock. I'm really really diggin that green brother. Good job.
How has it held up after 3 years and have you shot it much
Great job! Looks awesome 👍
Was this gun used.?
... and how has it held up.?
what works best to get paint out of ththe groves and lettering of the glock
No sanding?
Dude. Wear are you?
What color duracoat did you use in this video?
Dope color
How has the paint held up?
Roger Beers probably pretty poorly considering there is no clear coat
Odd that the brake cleaner would work better than the other cleaner with never using this product before.
can u do this to a shield 9mm

@@robmock2296 I like how you erase your comment.
Yeah you should have done lighter sprays much farther away (8"-12")

I was thinking the same thing. but the guy did say it was his first time doing this so maybe he learned from it
How has the duracoat held up on the lower?
How has the paint held up??
It’s held up well, I don’t get to shoot it as much as I’d like but it was my side arm all of hunting season and it still looks great!
When you’re done painting turn the Can upside down spray the paint out of it and the tip will last forever
But the paint won't because it's been activated with hardener?
Really you dont show the end result? Amateur!
Lmmfao I know rt
Zachary Miles .. Because I think it turn out ugly that's why....
Total blue balls!
@@michelmarrache8698 LMAO!!
Did it still shoot?
Quasi pro-tip use a pizza box for a paint booth
