First Time commenting here on YT. Since I have been following your and Ranveer’s podcasts from a very long time and I think you both are India’s best podcasters right now.I just want to give my insights not restricting to these episode but overall on what I feel, knowing this might not even be noticed by you at all. Compared to Ranveer you bring a lot of versatility in terms of topics you touch on and guests you invite to your show while Ranveer is slightly more in to spiritual and political aspect and I am a huge fan of both.❤ But I feel you unnecessarily try to give your lengthy thoughts on the topic, knowing that the guest in the front is actual expert of it and people are here to listen to them and when the guest is trying to speak you interrupt them in between and start talking about your thoughts to show us how intellectual are you but, sorry to say not intellectual at all. (and trust me it can be observed by a person who’s watching podcasts regularly) And it is seen on the faces of the guests how annoyed they feel and how bad they want you to stop talking.Sometimes it takes away all the flow and vibe of the podcast bcoz if the guest feels they are not being respected they tend to share less. On the other hand I feel Ranveer knows when to speak and how much to speak in order to maintain the flow of the podcast and even the guests doesn’t feel insulted and they actually put out things to their maximum output and tend to share more which is the best thing for the audience and it’s the best trait of a podcaster. I personally feel you should learn this quality from him and try to improvise your podcasts and may be after that you will be the best in India❤ Thank you! and pardon me for the strong language.Peace✌🏼
Such a fascinating interview.... Don't know why this video hasn't accepted much by the audience... So many interesting points about building and scaling business... Thanks Raj for this one... Hope you continue to make this kind of videos in future too despite less impressions... Kudos to you and your team 👏🏽👏🏽
This is what i like the most in shamani podcast they are very easy to understand No fancy english, no fancy confusing terms Guy with basic english knowledge can understand This is how you can inspire everyone in india I really thanks raj for doing this
there is this brand called saraam in udaipuir Rajasthan they are chocolate company , they are doing prity good. they had 1 cr revenue in just a year and founder is so knowledgeable
Hey Raj can you get someone who is still in the grill and not made it yet. It's easy to talk about things if you have figured out your path but the ones who are still in the process can help us to understand how to figure out while in the process. Hope it makes sense to you. Would love to see how people brainstorm and take the next step sort of things
Everyone in the baby & mom product industry from time immemorial have done the same “innovation” of going to the hospital and giving their samples to the mom and all of them would say the same thing that they were the first to do so 😂😂😂
Such a good podcast. Your conversations with your guests about consumer insights and India specific problems are super incisive. Wonderful to understand the Indian consumerism landscape from the lens of people who have cracked it. Thanks for this insightful watch. Cheers!
Yeah! Right ..first I was costomer of snapdeal ..then it lost somewhere .. now Amazon ..n they are costomer oriented completely..if u have received wrong product.. they would return it even if it's mentioned clearly.. not return able .. now fan of meesho to large extent.. but we can't Ajio n nyka.. to some extent.
Plug in your personal brand and businesses more on the podcast because I listen to your podcasts regularly but I still don't know much about your businesses because I don't want to go and search about your businesses. I am waiting when will I get to know more about it through the tool called marketing. This is the place where Ranveer Allahbadia gets a step ahead of you. Though he is not as exclusive and refined in podcasting than you but he has imprinted an image of his brands in my mind whether it is monk E or Level. There is a thin line between push sales and classy marketing where you pinch your brand in people's head oftenly here and there which ranveer is good at and I want to see it from you❤
The summary of this: 1) Insights on business success in India: - Need to genuinely understand Indian culture and consumers - Example: Hyundai succeeded because they innovated for Indian families with the Santro hatchback - Solve real pain points and needs - Example: Crack cream addressed an Indian skin need - Provide value for money - Indians want good value, not just low prices - Appeal to family and community - Example: Status symbols for family and friends matter in India in India - Distribution and marketing to reach consumers - Hospital kiosks for moms worked well for Mom's Co 2) Differences between consumer needs in India vs US: - India focuses on family and community status - US more individualistic, less focus on what others think - Different mindsets lead to different consumer behavior 3) How to build successful brands: - Solve real needs, don't just fall in love with your solution - Go beyond just the product to address identity and emotions - Communicate stories and experiences that resonate - Constantly gather insights from real consumers - Be adaptable and adjust to consumer feedback 4) Amazon's success factors: - Customer-obsessed culture - Wide assortment and low prices - Convenience of delivery - Global expertise localized for India - Willingness to experiment and iterate 5) Qualities for startup founders: - Drive and determination - Ability to build and lead a team - Business and financial acumen - Vision balanced with execution 6) Importance of both founders and professional executives: - Example: Steve Jobs vision and disruption - Example: Tim Cook scaling Apple operations and profits 7) Tips for working with manufacturers: - Build relationship then create systems - Move from oversight to deep involvement - Be flexible and grow together
