In this episode of the Figuring Out podcast, we are in conversation with Aseem Ghavri , Co-founder of Ashneer Grover in Third Unicorn.
Born and brought up in Chandigarh, Aseem Ghavri graduated from Punjab University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science. He founded a game app development studio in 2013 with a friend.
While in college, Ghavri started a small food truck startup business in the town of Hungryville with his personal investment of Rs 8,000. He used the money he earned from his business to invest in founding Code Brew Labs. Code Brew Labs later grew into an enterprise technology solutions provider. Ghavri co-founded two of his companies, Retainlytics (a data analytics product) and Fush (a social media app). Both of these startups were later closed down .
Aseem Ghavri is a visionary entrepreneur and software developer who has always been passionate about technology. He has a wealth of experience in the field of software development, having worked with a number of different companies and organizations before starting Code brew Labs.
Ghavri's story serves as a reminder that success in entrepreneurship is not determined by one's background or fancy degrees. He is giving a ray of hope to all the entrepreneurs who don’t hold IIT/IIM tags or are rejected by investors for all the invalid reasons.

yes but people from the industry know that he was on to turn it into a bank and that's super tuff with RBI's criterias and checks. Hence what he achieved by cracking the banking license what no less than magic. It can turn profitable easily but now i guess they don't have anybody in management to drive it to profitability.
