Panorama with the crane is great. Also loved all the colours in the water. Also very good to have a willing helper and other cameraman. (Or person)

Thanks Tom. The water there is such a beautiful colour - so many greens and blues. And it is fun travelling with someone who understands - or at least tolerates my photography 😀

Really enjoyed that video Ian. A terrific array of quality subject matter. You really did well with the images you captured. The pano was my favourite among a set of excellent photographs.

Simply superb Ian......I really rate your work. I was down in Dorset a couple of weeks ago and like you fell in love with Portland Bill....so natural and unspoiled.

Fabulous Ian, just love the clarity in your photos. Hard to choose which is my favourite. What filters do you use? Enjoy your trip and look forward to seeing more of the English coastline.

      Gill Brown Thanks!
I use Nisi filters. We did enjoy the trip - back home now and processing thousands of photos and hours of video 😀

Thanks Steve. Yeah, I’m a sucker for b&w and have been experimenting with sepia toning. Thanks for the feedback 😀

Great video and beautiful images. Do you think you could do a video showing how you use a polariser along with a grad ND and ND filters all at the same time, that info would be quite helpful.

      Richard Higgins Photography
      Hi Richard
Thanks for checking out my video, your kind comments and suggestion. I’ll try to remember to do an explanatory video on filters and, in particular, stacking filters, next time I’m doing that 😀
      Cheers Ian

The shot at 5:46 was really nice. I like that speed as it maintains the power of the water. I really enjoyed Joanne's shots as well. I thought the shot with the lighthouse in the center worked well. As you said, the other items helped keep attention in the frame. Do you use hard edge or soft edge grads? I have trouble seeing the soft edges and am considering switching to a hard edge for the times I have to use one.
