Why is this place still open? Endless supply of "signed" Beatles albums...autographed items that REAL auction houses can't get....and yet...Coach's Corner has them! What's next...a baseball "signed" by Jesus?

As someone thats been selling autographs for 30 years, and been getting autographs for almost 40, I can tell you what they said in this story is only the tip of the iceberg. The BIGGEST red flag should have been the prices he was getting stuff for. To have that collection for 13K should have been his biggest warning right there. The names shown in that piece ALONE should have cost around the 13K he said his entire collection cost, which we never saw 90% of.
Hi Canada have a question here. My brother just died leaving me with tons of sports stuff to sell. Just wanted to get your opinion. What and where is the best place to sell stuff like this?
Even these reliable company, I’d prefer “witnessed” ones over “authenticated” ones since the witnessed ones have a representative of the company there to see that the item is actually signed by that player.
I just dont buy autographs. One time in 1995 I bought a Darryl Strawberry one for a dollar and an Andres Galarraga for a dollar also. And a Muhammad Ali baseball for 30, and a Dr J basketball for 40. That was it. Luckily later I met both Ali and Galarraga and got them to sign in person. Either get it in person or through the mail, but never buy it!!
Sports merchandise does cost a fortune but I learned a long time ago auction websites can lead to fraud and this story shows it all especially when they went to confront the owner of Coach's Corner
I feel bad for him but when the official sports have a website where they gather actual authentic pieces from dealers they trust its kinda hard to feel bad for his blunder. You gotta watch out and be smart.
@@beatlejim64 so let me get this right.
