Dan Mangan took to the streets at his secret show at the Institute for the Enjoyment of Music on July 20, 2011.

One of my favorite moments is when the woman shouts 'Get off the sidewalk!'. Dan just smiles and everyone sings louder. Beautiful.
He played a secret show in a venue that held about 30-ish people. There was a swarm of people on the sidewalk trying to watch so he played his encore outside so everyone could enjoy.
He played this song at a venue in my hometown that's known for its acoustics. He asked everyone to put their phones down, stood on the chairs in the front row and sang and when the crowd did the harmonies, incredible feeling

So I cried my makeup off on this... It's my favourite song of his and it's so powerful and just hearing his raw voice and seeing him perform on the street is just perfect to watch... What a beautiful video
Wow. I saw him live playing this tune and he did it like in this video. It was such a great experience, his music goes deep into my soul and warms everything. When the instruments stopped and he continued to sing, he handed his guitar to me so he could stay properly on his bar chair. Afterwards I talked to him, he's a very kind person. That was one of the best moments i ever had. One of those rare great artists that still have their hay day. This video lets me feel like the show was yesterday,

I can't fathom the fact that I've seen this man in show here. He did the exact song with the crowd (about 100 people) in a small room. It was just mind-blowing and about as perfect as it gets. It was one of my many highlights of his show.

Beautiful video!
