Seeing how fantastic and awesome these animated films are and how a TV animated series doesn't really work well for Berserk seeing the 2016, The best bet is to just keep doing movies as Berserk needs a MASSIVE budget to keep up the quality art and animation to match up with the phenomenal artwork from the manga. Just keep on having theatrical releases for the Berserk series and it would be perfect as a whole to adapt EACH arc for a movie released in theaters and they keep on pushing the art and animation standard quality for each film! Berserk SHOULD work and CAN work as a movie series entirely! I think dragon ball super needs to do that because the movies from the super era are amazing while the show is mid. Berserk would benefit from just doing it as a series of theatrical releases!
After seeing Pluto on netflix I want whatever studio who animated pluto to give us a faithfull well animated berserk adaptation with an amazing bgm. I love these 50 minute long episodes. It really makes the pacing feel natural and all. Which is a problem I had with the tybw anime adaptation. It's hard to get invested into that anime when you cram in too much content in 20 minute episodes. That anme would also benefit from 50 to 1 hour long episodes.
Casca: "Oh, just like your ass belonged to that Tudor count, right?" Grifith: "And I'd do it all over again to further my dream. For my dream, MY ASS IS FREE REAL ESTATE!" Godhand: "Yo, he spitting"
I feel like if Guts only explained to Griffith why he was leaving, because he overheard Griffiths words of true friendship, then maybe this whole thing could have been avoided. This is most certainly the moment that words would have a greater impact that the sword.
I honestly feel even Griffith couldn't admit his love towards Guts and instead of just doing the right thing, pleading from the heart for him to stay and telling Guts that he valued him as a person, as a brother, he instead freaked out and immediately got possessive and wanted to exert force to get Guts to stay since it worked last time (and even kill him if it had to come to it cause in his mind, if he can't have Guts by his side then no one can have him, much less Guts being able to live his own life by himself) Griffith is clearly heartbroken beyond belief that Guts would even want to leave him after all this time.
He did though, that’s the tragic irony of it. Griffith said someone had to have their own dream to be his friend, but the way he treated guts as a close confidant who’s opinion he valued and the lengths he went to to keep guts at his side and save him from danger was far beyond anything he would have done for anyone else. I don’t think he internally believed what he told the princess.
I like how when he stopped the blade a single strand of hair was cut off and that’s was cool how they added it to the most recent chapter where they fought again and he did it again
The fact that this rlly could've been avoided through a simple fucking conversation is crzy. Then again, that same line of reasoning can apply to most events b4 a catastrophe
how would it have been avoided? Guts dream wasn’t staying with the band of the hawk, at least not when it meant being Griffith’s war machine for the rest of his life. Griffith was never going to let guts leave to pursue his dream without a fight, as he said himself he’d only view someone as a friend and equal if they’d be willing to go against him for their own dream. He also fought to have Guts before even knowing exactly how valuable he was going to be, so why would he let him walk away without a duel knowing how important he is now? I just don’t see what type of resolution a conversation would have brought forward that could have stopped this from happening. Sure, they could have more clarity regarding each other’s feelings but with both being type A personalities I don’t think either were going to let that actually change their view.
That's the best thing about tragedy. The worst things that happen are totally avoidable, but they happen anyway because of one or more characters' tragic flaws.
@@zacharysambell9280you misunderstand why guts is leaving. He overheard Griffith say that the only person he’d consider a friend was someone that sought out and achieved his own dream. That was why Guts decided to leave. So he could find his own dream and truly become an equal to Griffith and truly be his friend. Guts seemed wholly content with his role in the band of the hawk before hearing Griffith say that. A thought out conversation between them very well could have remedied this even if it wasn’t a guarantee.
The buildup and symbolism in this fight is phenomenal. Griffith wields a fancy blade with gold, he’s nearly become what he set out to achieve, a nobleman now. Guts still wielding his large battle-worn blade, still a warrior only grown stronger through his battles. Bruce Lee said “I don’t fear the man who knows a 100 kicks, I fear the man who practices 1 kick 100 times”. Guts practiced that swing with his sword hundreds of times, while Griffith got comfortable and still thought he had the edge he did not account that Guts had only been getting better and stronger in those 3 years
alternate good ending: guts accidentally drive his sword a little too far and cut through griffith's shoulder thus the "event" didnt happen, everyone would grow to hate guts but its for the best
All 3 movies are great and fantastically well done. People are just whiny as the movie did a great job at adapting the VERY long golden age arc very well despite everything since it was ALOT in there bring to life.
@@Gadget-Walkmen i think berserk 2017 ruined a lot of people’s perception of these movies. i really wish that part of the story got a proper adaptation
