Metallica pretty much had Bangalore in the palm of their hands when they hit the opening chords for " For Whom the Bell Tolls!" The hardest working and hardest Rocking band in the world! Metallica Rules!!
This day was something I cannot put in words, I was the little boy there standing in the front section where I irritated an old man by asking him, are we really going to see James play his explorer? And he said you have asked me this trillion times already, this is real and they are here in Bangalore! It was my first concert, I will forget anything, but I cannot forget that moment when I made an eye contact with Kirk. I have so many things to share. I was in a taxi when I was going to the venue, and the metalheads were so loud that time that the taxi man said I will kick you all out and one guy said "f__k yer wife." There you go, another disaster which is why it took us so long to reach the venue, and when I saw the hoarding, it was METALLICA! Dammit! I spent the whole day without water, and then there was a girl who was showing her cookie box from her jeans, I didn't delve there, but she was standing just next to me and smiling and then I don't know where she disappeared. It was a day full of madness. So many things happened, I can just go on and on. I cannot believe it all happened.
My dream came true that night..the best day of my life to witness such phenomenon ....I'm a true Metallica fan since I was 11 years old ...it's more than a band to me ..its my life ...Metallica always no 1 for me .
I can't ever forget this. I was scared as shit before, knowing that the gurgaon gig had been cancelled. We all just followed the instructions by their safety advisor guy like obedient sheep. "SAFETY FIRST".. that's what he said at least 10 times, and we all nodded our heads in agreement. But once they were on stage.. Man, it was something special.. Just by watching this, anyone can feel the energy of the crowd.. It felt like we all were enthralled by the same emotions.. "So long you have waited". It was apparent to all and even the band, James acknowledged it. The Memory Remains.. and it shall always. \\m//
It was an incredible night & then the heavens too opened up. The perfect meta rock night. Echoes from the crowd was spine chilling. Everyone was Electric.
