You left out Anne Heche who died when she crashed her car into a house while fleeing from Ellen Degenerate who was chasing after her while wearing a strap-on
Their biggest mistake was taking Chapin to Nassau County. My sister, at 12 years old, was taken there after being hit by a speeding car in a school zone. The hospital never checked her vitals. They just saw that her eyes were fixed, declared her dead and sent her to the morgue. She woke up an hour later crying for mom. Yes. The hospital got sued.
What about Albert Camus? And Chris Burton from Metallica? And Porfirio Rubirosa, legendary playboy? I was sure James Dean and Lady Diana would be on the list. Also, Austrian prominent politician Jorg Haider, Austrian ski champion Rudolf Nierlich, Croatian NBA star Drazen Petrovic. Another notable NBA player - Bobby Phills from mid-1990s Charlotte Hornets. Great Italian football world champion (1982) national team member Gaetano Scirea, Polish football national team hero from mid-70s Kazimierz Deyna. First Formula One world Champion (1950) Giuseppe Farina (died in 1966 on a public road, civil car, not in competition). 1958 Formula One World Champion Mike Hawthorn - died in Jan. 1959 on a public road, not in competition (although driving a competition car, but privately, after having had finished his racing career).
Personally, however tragic it is, it’s interesting and shocking to hear of different Famous people rather than the ones we hear time and time again. So sad! X
I saw Harry Chapin a few months before his death and he was such a normal guy who was an amazing singer but never let it go to his head. It was a small theater and we were able to go back stage and meet him and other musicians.
My friend died just like Steve Allen. Minor rear end accident and no idea it caused an aneurysm. Took a nap, wife looked at him and he looked totally weird so she called an ambulance and he died at the hospital. You never know.
There’s still a cross on the exit ramp marking the site where Dottie West gave up the ghost. From that exit ramp to the Grand Ole Opry, is about a half mile, less than 2 minutes away.
Pelle Lindbergh died just up the road from my home when I was 18. He was drinking at the Colliseum where the Flyers practiced. I also played youth hockey there in ‘81
Jayne Mansfield, Otis Redding, Paul Walker, Billy Martin, Grace Kelly, Orson Bean, Sam Kinison, Anne Heche, Lady Di (Dianna Spencer), and most famously, James Dean all died in auto accidents, and all were more famous than 90 percent of those on this list. I'm guessing the aforementioned were mentioned in your Part 1 video(?).
Tim Horton didn't die from "tiredness". He was drunk, extremely drunk in fact and was in involved in a high speed police chase while driving home late at night to Buffalo from Toronto after a hockey game and a post-game drinking binge . With the police in pursuit he crashed his Pantera into an abutment on the St. Catharines 'Garden City Skyway' high level bridge while travelling at an estimated 120-plus mph.

Sad the car crash involving Johnny Horton who was totally innocent > A Favorite singer - still listen to his music to this day - North To Alaska - Jim Bridger etc.
Tom Mix owned a ranch in California, which later became home to 20th Century Fox Studios. After a series of big budget box office failures, FOX sold most of the land which was developed into what is now Century City, an affluent neighborhood on the west side of Los Angeles.
Actually, it was Elizabeth Taylor's Cleopatra that did Fox in, not a series of failures. Fox ordered all production to be shut down on the lot except Cleopatra (plus Liz and her "demands as a star") caused the studio to bleed money. So, they sold the land which is now Century City (I work there for over 10 years) to make up the difference

3:00 Tom Mix was driving a '37 Cord 812, not a '49 Ford. He was driving at an estimated 100 miles per hour, having bypassed the road closure signs, and crashed through barricades for a bridge under construction. There was an aluminum suitcase, reportedly containing $6000 cash in the back seat and it continued forward after impact, smashing Mix's skull.

What was not mentioned in the Jessica Savage story was the fact that both she and her passenger were drunk as skunks at the time of their crash. If I'm not mistaken, they landed in a silted-in and abandoned stretch of the historic Erie Canal. The car rolled over on the embankment landing upside down on its roof. The water remaining in the canal was less than 5 feet deep. Had they escaped from the car, they probably wouldn't have drowned.

Jack Anglin was a member of the duo Johnnie and Jack, with Johnny Wright, the husband of Kitty Wells. I suspect someone has confused him with Ira Louvin of the Louvin Brothers, who died a couple of years later in a car crash.
Hi Kathryn, no confusion.. before becoming a member of Johnny & Jack, Jack and his brothers Van and Jim began performing as the Anglin Twins and Red. Once the trio's music was picked up by southern radio stations, the group changed names to The Anglin Brothers. The family band would later disband in 1939...👍

Yep. It was on US 30, outside of medicine bow. That part of the highway has had a lot of bad accidents over the years. It was later widened from 2 lanes to 4 in that section! A truck pulled out onto the highway right in front of them. They swearved and went into the path of a car coming in the opposite direction. Got sideways and was hit in the side. I saw a picture of the accident some time ago online. Really bad deal. They were driving home from the film set, just passing through. That stretch of highway was called blood alley due to the crashes!

Back in the day when most of these accidents occurred cars were not nearly as safe as they are now. There were no airbags and few wore seatbelts if the car happened to even have them. Several of these accidents also were due to alcohol or drugs.

No sympathy whatsoever with drunk drivers. Feel really angry on behalf of the innocent people they killed.
Your description of Tom Mix is inaccurate. Ditch the AI.
🤔🤔Well, everyone's got their own opinion, and that's what makes this country so great, ya know? But it's always better to back up what you're saying with real facts, instead of just spouting some random nonsense, ?
Anyway, thanks for tuning in.
Take it easy,

I agree. I commented that the Tom Mix info is incorrect and this poster said I was passing false info etc. He doesn't even know the basics . Terrible reply from this person. You're right, just remember that !!
The family band would later disband in 1939...👍
Harry Chapin also didn't have a valid license
but he knew how too drive..
You forgot actress Judy Tyler , a beautiful and bodacious 24 year old who perished from a head on collision in Wyoming in 1957 .
Ah, thanks wildedog, may she RIP...If i there is a part 3 ill give ya a shoutout...👍
@@wildedog3967 she had made a movie with Elvis and was on her honeymoon.

Keep the ideas flowing, and thanks for commenting.
Razzle died when they hit a pole after hitting the van
when he died i read he would drink a case of beer a fiifth of gin and a snifter of congac on his Days off
So it seems that all automobiles should be made illegal with all these tragic ends of celebrities....
Shame on you.....Where is SAM KINISON?....One of the greatest comedians ever.
🤔🤔 Now hold your Horses John..Your watching part 2...and there are 3 vids..part1 part 2 and part 3...lol...here is a link to all 3 John 👍👍

This has probably been said before, but I didn't see it when I scrolled down for a bit. Ernie Kovacs is pronounced with a hard c, as in KOVAKS.
Strange how you speak in the passive voice. Cars don't overturn themselves, or run off the road by themselves.
Harry Chappin was the Harry in the song "Harry had a rabbit, he is dead and gone and ain't coming back, but he would still be alive if he drove a Cadillac...
Lopes accident is shown in the Reelz show "Autopsy". Ernie you can see a photo of the accident scene online.
Yes, and if she had to swerve to "miss a truck" it's because she was paying attention to being filmed and not waching the road.
@@MarkMay-cr6bv exactly....being filmed, talking to her sister, something in her hands
What about James dean
You missed Princess Diana & Ayrton Senna
what about Dennis Weaver in the little tiny Red Car
Kinda dumb title, ALL car crash deaths are tragic, you should have left the word tragic out of the title.
What about Jane Mansfield’s death resulted in semi’s using the Mansfield bar
Desmond Llewelyn who was Q in James Bond movies died in car accident.
Ernie Kovacs is pronounced KOVAKS!

Back in the day when most of these accidents occurred cars were not nearly as safe as they are now. There were no airbags and few wore seatbelts if the car happened to even have them. Several of these accidents also were due to alcohol or drugs.
Also, a lot of roads didn't have strong speed limits ..
Tara Browne the heir to the Guinness fortune died in a car crash in 1966.Browne was friends with the Rolling Stones, the Lovin' Spoonful and the Beatles. Some believe the Beatles song A Day in the Life was written about him He wa only 21

Um, Tim Horton was drunk when he crashed. They found a half a bottle of vodka in his car. By the way it's pronounced the Vezna trophy. The I is silent.
Sounds like most were at fault and not paying attention when driving.
