      The Copyright year 1986 was from Postman Pat, Jimbo and Bertha

      Yes, that's where this one came from (can't remember which though, it's on quite a few)

      The Doctor Who releases that use this logo are the original omnibus releases of Pyramids of Mars, The Seeds of Death, The Five Doctors, The Robots of Death, Day of the Daleks, Death to the Daleks and Spearhead from Space (Revenge of the Cybermen and The Brain of Morbius use the earlier ident).
      This was most likely sourced from Day of the Daleks due to the final frame of the opening lasting longer.

      Yes. My old Death to the Daleks tape for one. I wish I still had it, the rest of my tapes and my VCR to play them on!

      Wrong. Numberblocks and Alphablocks didn't exist in 1986. It was probably taken from Doctor Who: Day of the Daleks or a BBC show from that time.
