Another trick to remove the primary is put Teflon tape on puller and fill hole with water. Works like a charm! I tried the bread trick but the pro xp clutch wasn’t moving until the water trick
The large gear set that you tapped in with the dead blow (@35:00) if you're not upgrading the retaining ring do you have to remove that particular gear set? Seems you only pulled it out to show where the 4 bolt older style retaining ring was.
@@CrashCitySxS It's perfect. Thanks again for doing it for me! I've got about another 500 miles on since the reduction. I got the power back from the 32" tire swap. No belt problems now!

Thanks for video helped out a lot by chance do you have the torque or the inner belt housing to motor and to transmission and do I need to line the clutches up in any way working on a 2021 pro xp
You’re welcome. The turbo trans inner clutch cover will get everything lined up where it needs to be. No need for an alignment tool. Housing to engine bolts-37ft/lbs Middle housing to engine/trans-50 Upper housing to trans-37
All is ok. Just getting a slow start to the year I guess lol. Got the shop caught up. Getting our rzrs lined out. Should have a vid here in a day or two!
Thanks for the video. What is the new top end for low gear? My pro xp with stock gears can do 40+ mph in low. Obviously it won't go as fast with the new gears so what is your experience? Are the new gears noisy?
How do you normally get there gear off the one shaft that can't be reached with the puller? I think in this video you use a press but curious what you used to press it off
What is your personal opinion on doing the 12% reduction across all gears to run 35s on a Pro XP4? No hardcore rock climbing or mudding. Just light to medium trail riding.
It would work but would also want to put a high load or big tire clutch kit in it more than likely. But you could try the 12% first and see how it does. Just depends on your driving style!
Do you work on sxs’s for customers? I’m in Evansville got a pro xp not sure how to get in contact with you don’t have a Facebook but I’ve seen your name everywhere
I have 2022 XP pro. Transmission fluid leaking out of the transmission prop shaft seal. I replaced the trip lip seal, but still leaking there. The UTV has 25 miles on it. What could cause this? Thanks
Are you talking about the output to the driveshaft/prop shaft? There’s the triple lip seal and also a oring on the outer of the snorkel adjuster that the triple lip seal goes in. You will have to pull transmission out and disassemble to change that oring
One question, do you have to split the case to replace the seal, or can you get the snorkel out from the front where the trip lip seal is? Thanks Again
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
Yes we’ll take a sponsorship! 1 million dollars and a lifetime supply of Redbulls (regular and sugar free) would be fantastic!!! A new Pro R (well put your lights on it and give it away) a toterhome and huge trailer to travel all over the country too! Shoot us an email at crashcitysxs@gmail.com and we’ll work out the details!
Most likely just from having the primary off and not getting it perfectly back on where it came off. No big deal. Just sometimes it happens. Can either tighten primary more or if it was too far in pop it off and put it on with less torque. Or with the new secondary on the pros adjust the shims!
If you were to guess...what would you say the comfortable riding speed would be in low on a 2020 rzr xp 1000 if I go with 54% reduction and the top speed in high with a reduction of 27%? Riding on 35" xtr370s...
Just following up! I have a 2020 xp1000 I did a 54% reduction in low, 27% in high & reverse as well as upgraded Retainer and double reverse chain. I now can ride up to 25 mph in low maybe 30 tops but that's pushing it. I can get to 60 mph in high possibly 65 mph if I push it...I'm running 32" xtr 370s. I'm happy with this set up. I'll be going 35 xtr370s next so it should run nice. I've got a hunterworks clutch kit with my flywheels weighted to their max. I'm riding pretty good with clutch engagement and rpms. Just letting you know since I inquired about it before I did it! Thank you
Love the bread trick. Ive used it on worn pilot bushings as well.
Heck yes
We pulled that 4seater transmission 4 times lol thank you for your help! we would've never figured it out
Anytime!!
Hey maybe I should move down there where you guys are at and help me work on my Razor love your videos
Haha. Thanks! As busy as we are lately we may make you help us!
Great vid!! Would you guys ever do a gear reduction vid on the older XP 1000? (2014-2015) Love how you two keep it real!!!!!
Ya we been talking about it since the non turbo transmission is the only one we haven’t filmed.
Awesome video and knowledge! helped me with my regular turbo gear reduction!
Awesome!
Dang dude I bet you could do that blind folded! Very impressive and thanks!
Haha. We’ve talked about doing one blindfolded 🤣🤣🤣

Another cool video. We will be utilizing the bread trick real soon! 👍
Thanks! We used grease when we did ours but the bread is a whole lot easier to clean up!
Just got me a 2022 pro xp and I'm needing to come see yall soon.
Awesome! Congrats on the new ride!! We can fix ya up!
Quick tip for removing those axles that are threadloc on without heat. Use a 2 arm puller pops em right off.
I wondered about that on the last one we did. THANKS for the tip!
Man you guys know your stuff wish I could bring mine down there and let y'all do it lol
Time for a road trip!!
Great vid looks almost identical to my turbo s. Also I can’t get my wife to hang out haha
Great video guys always enjoy all the information you share with us keep up the great work!🤘👍
Thank ya sir. Finishing up hydro steer in sprinkles and will be working on that video very very soon...

Thanks for this video. Was very helpful during my install.
Awesome!!!!
I ruined my drivers rear because of that crap on the axle splines. wish i would have seen this prior. thanks for the knowledge.
Yup them putting that stuff on there is dumb. I guess to try to quiet down the Polaris popping noises they have?? 🤷♂️
I wish you were closer! Need me some reduction.
ROADTRIP!!!
Great vid. I bet that's helpful to a lot of people out there. 💯
Thanks!
Great video, can you give us part numbers for the gears you used? I just want to lower my low range gearing. Thanks!!!
3236132 3235232 low gear set.

Nice job!!!! So been thinking about getting a new 4 seater General can you do this to it? Also where you located? Thank you!!
Scottsburg IN. Yes! You can do some reduction in a general...
How do you normally get there gear off the one shaft that can't be reached with the puller?
I think in this video you use a press but curious what you used to press it off
Have a hobo freight 20 ton press we use. Gotta get 1/8” plate to get between the bearing and gear and it’ll pop off and outta there
Have you guys done any clutch work on your pro?
We’ve helped a few people get their clucthing lined out on the pro
what do you want for the tires???
35 roxxzillas for a 15” wheel are about 1.5” taller than our 14” wheel ones. Got a good deal on them...couldn’t pass em up

@nitro1max1 get ahold of Polaris customer service and see if they can help out. With only 25 miles it’s clearly a damaged oring from factory
One question, do you have to split the case to replace the seal, or can you get the snorkel out from the front where the trip lip seal is? Thanks Again
@nitro1max1 have to split cases. There’s the pinion shaft that will prevent the output shaft from coming out on its own

If secondary is spinning in park and neutral and hard to shift do I add shims or remove shims? Clutch alignment looks good
Depends on machine…what are you working on
