The current excessive rules around accidental high contact, with the way video ref interventions have to take place, is making a mockery of the sport. Why are we pushing such massive incentives to dive?
Thanks for parasitic former players, we have to endure these new rules but the RFL, as incompetent as they are, have very little foresight and have implemented them poorly. Most of the tackles I see that are "forceful and dangerous" are anything but. At the start of the year there seemed to be a serious push-back against the new rules with strong rumours that players would go on strike but that seems to have faded away. Players are now using the new rules to gain an advantage over the opposition, as the tackler has absolute responsibility for the outcome of the tackle even if the player with the ball puts himself in a dangerous position. Watching rugby matches from ten years ago made me realise how sterile the sport is becoming, the refs are the focal point of every game with the outcome being decided who gets sent off first. God help us when the tackle height rule comes into play next year.
These stupid decisions are ruining our game ....get a grip with these stupid rules ,I remember back in the 70,s watching wire at wilderspool I was a fletcher-ender when rugby was rugby watch chisnall running down the left wing with 4 players hanging off his head, proper hard hitting rugby, now it's a game of actors playing up for a decision. Bloody joke .its getting that way wen I cant be arsed watching anymore, stop, start, stop start 10 mins in the bin or red card
Tight one. Saints showed some defensive ticker but their attack was sterile. I'm not sure this is going to be Warrington's year but they are going in the right direction.
Does the SL consult world rugby on binnable offences these days?? These are soft af!! The 15 man game is already hard to watch because of their new tackling offences and you put that in league and its gonna be even worse. The NRL isnt far behind with these but regardless, the game as a whole is gonna be in big trouble soon

It's NOT law changes that are required. But changing attitudes is literally asking the earth...

I don’t like Wire or Saints, but I am glad to see Wire win this. I also think Chris Kendall is an excellent referee.
Why who do u follow what team 😂
Up the Wolves 🐺💛💙🏉

Ashton never scores tries like that against Wigan. Him & Dufty are the two most overrated in the comp.
Ashton as 2 trys against wigan this season when we hammered them 😂
Watched the game in-person, shit helens players were offside for every tackle
St Helens with a depleted side made Warrington look better than they really are
Wire are 3rd in the league 😂😂😂
Saints used to be good, what happened?
