My sister discovered her throat singing "talent" when she was in kindergarden. When I heard her the first time I was laughing tears bc it looked so frk funny. Imagine a deep (almost demonic) voice coming out a small girls mouth. All this started because she saw me watching "Scary Movie" and she tried to copy the deep voice. However, she had to stop with it real quick because the Kindergarten teacher called my parents and told em to make her stop doing that "weird sound" beacause all children were terrified and crying. Whenever a child refused to give her a toy she said "I will crawl under your bed" in her throat voice. I was cracking up when my mother said "Till now I thought I was raising a daughter but I raised a devil". 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Greetings from Mongolia my brother. For those, who are wondering what does ‘kargyraa’ or ‘ kharkhyraa’ mean, it means ‘roar’ in Mongolian. This is one form of throat singing. If you listen carefully, you will understand that ‘kharkhyraa’ imitates wild animals way of growling, like wolf and bear. The word has nothing to do with a crow. Sorry Turkish brothers.
Throat singing has always been the most interesting form of singing since I've discovered it, it sounds so different from anything the human voice can usually do , it seems to come from another world
Kargyraa is my strongest form of throat singing. My father can do Khoomei the best but I can do sygyt a little better than he. Kargyraa is definitely the easiest but is very satisfying. The funny thing is he tried a long time to get kargyraa right when I had managed it by myself without even realising it XD.

I learnt this myself, without tutorials, without anything other than learning how to control my throat to make the sound. I do it in the woods a lot too.
These videos have helped me so much, thank you. It's all about balance not power, I kept straining my throat getting angry I had no results but it's the same as whistling, forcing technique is detrimental, it's all about airflow, inner balance with yourself and your surroundings.

When you speak of "pressure in your throat" do you mean a breathing pressure, or a physical muscular squeeze pressure... I've had 10 surgeries, 6 of which were around my throat, 2 were chest splits... Not sure I'm physically able but the desire is real.
@metal_ak4 I was completely mute after one of the surgeries so there is quite a bit of damage, but I got most of my voice back. Mostly notice the difference at the very top and very bottom of my range.
@metal_ak4 I've been cleared "to do whatever I can comfortably without causing injury"... Orders I gladly ignore everyday by doing what I want regardless of the injury.

Sometimes, Turkic people pronounces words slightly different (for example gökbörü/kokbori).The Kargyraa word is slightly different version of "gırgıra" or "kırkıra".

i think its came from crow sound, beacuse once over i despite dont know anything of throat singing i was try repeat crow sound and i notice i can do karygraa.
I can do it naturally since I was a kid...it is like this deep door creaking sound mixed with a roar for me when I do it...you can feel your throat vibrating...I'm just not sure how to fully control it without messing up my throat because it makes my throat dry/itchy...
I have been fooling with my throat since I first heard some tantric monks a few years back. I think I'm doing it relatively well but it makes my throat itch like crazy lol
Maybe a bit late, I think it's important not to press the air in the lungs up to freedom instead of pressing the air against the inside. I try to sing along to wolf totem from the Hu and I do it like 20 minutes and I my throat feels only a bit dry. :)
