    Well, that was extremely fascinating to listen to. I especially loved the way you manage to get two notes at the same time. Love it :)

    As someone who has always liked playing around with his voice a bit I can proudly say that I have at least got a feeling of how all of that works after 3-5 days of trying to figure it out even a bit

    Excellent repertoir, it is an excellent demonstration of all the main types of Tuvan singing I've read about so far.

    Listening to this is going back in time , to pre language where sound was everything. I feel this more than hear it . Ancient and elemental , just wonderful .

    Does anybody have any insights on his to achieve borbangnadyr? I've read that it's tongue movements but have been unable to find any detailed explanations on how the tongue is supposed to be moved

      Really good clean distinct tones of khoomei using tongue movement as a prerequisite. And vibrating the tongue between any 2 of those tones

    I've been practiving Kargyraa for a couple weeks now, I am seeing improvement. Sygyt is what I really want to learn.

      I've been practicing for 2 years now and Sygyt was also what I wanted to learn first. But after a while (and using some not so great RUclips tutorials) I noticed that Khöömi is probably the most important style to get right. Once you can do the "middle style" as it's also called, all you need for Sygyt is putting the tongue to the roof of your mouth.
      And I think the most useful advice was to make the same sound that one makes when imitating a goat. Then constrict the throat, keep up the sound and vary mouth positions as if you wanted to make different vowel sounds.

    Any tips for getting the "butterfly" effect in Borbangnadyr?

    • @michaelv9210
      @michaelv9210 2 года назад +1

      Your tongue bends the note when then overtone singing is produced. The tip of your tongue should be curved upwards moving back and forth but without touching the roof of your mouth
