Anonymous RC Productions I’ve heard that as well. I leased a newer generation F56 model which was a 2015 Mini Cooper S. It was loaded out and stickered at 39K on my build. During my 36 month lease it had to be taken in 3 times for drivetrain malfunction repairs where I would go to pass and it would go into limp mode. First happened 3 days after I got it and the last time was at around the 28 month mark with 25,000 miles. The last time it was in the shop for 3 weeks getting parts and I had a Countryman loaner. It’s neat to do a factory order and get exactly what you want and they are a lot of fun and will put a smile on your face everyday when everything is working good but I would only lease and keep it while it was under full warranty. Mini used to be known for higher resale values but I didn’t find that to be the case with mine. If I wouldn’t have leased and had the option to turn it back in at the end I would have been extremely upside down in mine which doesn’t go well with the reliability experience as you get to out of warranty territory. That is just my experience with my F56 gen but as always YMMV.
I bought our 2009 mini convertible from main dealer in 2017 and yes I’ve had to replace hpfp and the air con pipe blew up luckily under warranty but the engine is part psa collaboration so not surprisingly a bit unreliable but still puts a smile on your face.
This guy talks shit about Toyota Corollas interiors when in reality they’re one of the most reliable cars EVER but makes it seem like this piece of crap car is the best car ever when also in reality these cars are known for having so many problems
Vire nice
That second gauge next to the tachometer is an "openometer" not a clock. It tells you how long the roof has been down for.
Are these particular generation Mini Coopers reliable...? I have heard that these have major problems.
