They're in denial. Its hard for parents that see there children as something there entire life to just come to terms with them being a murderer. Yes they should have come forward but maybe they were scared there son would turn on them and they'd suffer the same fate. Someone can be seen moving at 1:07 at the bottom right of the screen on the infra-red footage. The bag carried by the guy snapped by the wildlife camera looks similar to what's seen on the driver seat of gabby's campervan in the drive-by footage.

Well if you have children and they commit a crime do you know how hard that is to turn them in. I would help them flee, It's so hard to turn your back on a family member. I'd like to think I'd do the right thing but I don't know and I hope it would never happen. I've never so much thought about committing any crime and to prevent a family member going to prison that's probably the only time I would ever seriously consider it. I know what he did is terrible but his parents don't want to lose him and have him go to prison for life and got to think the death penalty would be in play too. They supposedly put him up in a hotel overnight so he could go to the police station the next morning and sign a waiver so the no contact order could be lifted.
