- Hi, I'm April, I am a reborn artist, Mother of 5 and a Gigi (Grandma) former nursing assistant, medical assistant, and phlebotomist now disabled and wheelchair dependent due to genetic and autoimmune diseases, and spinal surgery. People with my genetic disease, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome are called Zebras which is why I named my nursery as I did. I love to make all types of reborn babies but open eye babies are my favorite. I mainly use air dry/acrylic paints and mediums(Golden fluid, RebornFX, and Ultimate Fusion) and I root most of my dolls but do some painted hair babies as well. I do tutorial videos and everything that includes reborn dolls and Ill also, infrequently, make a few videos about the rest of my life.

My shoulders will always give me problems, unfortunately, they float in the sockets, my tendons are useless there, too stretched out and my muscles try to take over which doesnt work out very well. this is why its so easy for me to empathize with your pain.

Thank you so much. I get it, I miss out on some videos of my favs too. The panpastels have been used on reborns for some time and Master artist Sue Ellen Taormina is the one that got me hooked on the coastal scents. Unfortunately the are out of business so I guess its back to the artist powders 😉. The coasta Scents are actually eye shadows but they are all just powdered pigment🦓🤗

B4 I forget what color is the hair and where did you purchase it from?
Thank you so much! Its undyed or white sheep hair (Teesewater) by NewmoorBarn on Etsy. Its hard to deal with sometimes but I love the way it looks. You have to comb it out before rooting and there is a lot of waste but its cheaper than most mohair. 🦓🤗
