Wes Craven's forgotten 1984 TV movie (made just months before A Nightmare on Elm Street) sees a family move to Southern California where the father works for a tech company specializing in computers and equipment for space travel. The family is persuaded to join 'The Club', a mysterious group that exerts power over all in the community, and may be connected to Satanic goings on.
Starring Robert Urich (S.W.A.T., Vega$), Joanna Cassidy (Blade Runner, Who Framed Roger Rabbit), Susan Lucci (All My Children), Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster), Barrett Oliver (The Neverending Story), Joe Regalbuto (Murphy Brown), Kevin McCarthy (Invasion of the Body Snatchers, UHF, Innerspace) and Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes).
Nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Art Direction in 1984.
